December 14, 201212 yr Author Hi Michael Bubre [snip] Thanks for commenting! One Direction! Taylor Swift! A female #1! May I declare this the best Bré chart ever *.* No. Ooh Figure 8 ended up being quite the quick grower for you, Ellie's doing very well here this era :o Other pleasing things include Ed Sheeran flopping (1D stealing his success? :o) and the whole queen of longevity thing Girl On Fire has going on. #4 is a great peak for The Wheel - is that your highest peaking entry? Sad to see Frost gone, where did they peak in the end? :( Lovely chart :jump: 'Figure 8' is definitely one of the biggest/fastest growers of the year, along with coincidentally one of the other female #1s of the year ('Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)'). Still growing loads every time I hear it, it's more or less guaranteed to be my Christmas #1 and could really see it staying at #1 for a good couple of months especially with the dead new release schedule. Ed Sheeran is doing rather well for a single released this long after the album! I didn't think it was anything even near a highlight of the album until its single release which has made it grow on me immensely. Certainly no 1D-inflicted popularity stealing here. It's a shame 'Girl On Fire' never made my top 10, it really is a rather good song. I think 'The Wheel' might be my highest peaking entry actually, 'Vehl' 'only' peaked at #8 despite it being my favourite entry of the year and I think the #5 peak of 'Restless' may have been the previous best. Frost peaked at #20! Thanks for the comment :jump: Hey :) | 14 | ** | 14 | Kendrick Lamar | Backseat Freestyle | 14- Need to check out more of his stuff! Hi! I'm going to check out 'good kid, m.A.A.d city' pretty soon, when I find the time to stop being a lazy shit  Based on 'Swimming Pools (Drank)' and 'Backseat Freestyle' it sounds like a potentially brilliant album. Thanks for commenting! THAT USERNAME NO. | 05 | 02 | 01 | Disclosure | Latch (feat. Sam Smith) | 8-3-2-2-1-1-2-4- GORG THIS USERNAME YES. Thanks for the comment + making me realise I made an error with Latch's position oops. Hi Bray :D | 01 | 21 | 01 | Ellie Goulding | Figure 8 | 21-1- Unexpected #1! Another great single from Ellie! | 05 | 04 | 04 | Robbie Williams | Candy | 15-13-10-15-15-16-11-14-11-7-4-5- Pleased this has done so well, and good to see it doing well for you too! | 17 | ** | 17 | One Direction | Little Things | 17- 1D :o Brilliant to see this here! Hi :D It was unexpected for me as well, on my first listen I thought it was extremely 'meh' and not a patch on 'Anything Could Happen' but it's accelerated to top 20 of the year material already just a handful of listens later. Her best for me now, 'Starry Eyed', 'Guns And Horses', 'Anything Could Happen' and this are all brilliant singles and 'Lights' and 'Your Song' are rather good as well! Would rather not mention the other two though :P 'Candy' definitely feels like it deserves better than a #4 peak but by the time it got around to peaking I'd known it for so long that I just couldn't really put it any higher. It has insane top 20 longevity though which makes up for it to some extent! And 'Little Things' is just a shockingly good song from them, I fully expected it to be the dullest thing ever but I can totally see why it's been a surprisingly big hit for them. Ed Sheeran certainly working his magic even with a few dodgy lyrics  Thanks for commenting! New chart SHOULD be up on Sunday but as usual no promises. Thought I'd actually respond to these comments this week :kink:
