I know that the songs are very similar but I don't really understand the point that you are trying to make? Are you trying to say that Change Your Life is rubbish because it was influenced by that song or are you trying to say that Buzzjack would not like this song if it had the same publicity as Change Your Life?

 

For the record, I like that song, but it's not a crime to admit that I prefer Change Your Life by a long distance.

I presume that it won't be premiered until it starts rising up the iTunes chart. I was waiting all night a few weeks ago for the video to premiere! :lol: :(

According to their Twitter today we're meant to be seeing the video soon. I finally got round to getting the 'DNA' album a few weeks ago and I'm pleased they went for this as the third single. It's definitely got a bit of an All Saints feel to it with the spoken intro and the harmonies (no bad thing in itself as I LOVED All Saints). I know I took a while to come round to 'Wings' initially but it's a strong album overall that they've made and I reckon they'll have the legs to go for a few albums yet. Everyone was writing Girls Aloud off after their first album, lest we forget - but they were still finding their feet then and the same is true of Little Mix!

The Girls Aloud thing is true, but they also found their sound with Xenomania quite early on, saying that, the "Wings" sound works really well for Little Mix.

Very boring video. What's with their hair? Perrie looks awful, Jade looked so much better with red hair and Jesy's hair look bigger than herself.

I quite like the video it's cute and shows of there personalities it's nothing ground breaking but it does the job.

Didn't they have that advert where they were looking for 2 gay people? What happened to that?

This is so disappointing. I was so excited when I heard the "two gay people" idea and I thought that could turn it into a brilliant song that had a true meaning for the public to see. But no, it will probably peak at #23 and fall down the chart after that. I don't care, they deserve to flop for putting no effort into the video at all.

 

Having said that, the girls do look very lovely in the video. I just feel betrayed at the moment, if you know what I mean.

It's alright, but I'm just disappointed as well really. It feels like we've waited AGES (we have really, the amount of times it's been 'premiering tomorrow') and it's although it's good to finally have it I expected more... It serves the song I suppose, and it could be far worse.

That's a pretty weak effort imo. Having not completely fallen in love with the song, the video does nothing to make me change my mind. I expected something that might have focused on people that could have related to the lyrics of the song (which i think is what Griff is suggesting too), not how the girls have changed their own lives for the better. :unsure:

What a shit video for a mediocre song. How do they even expect this to be a hit?!

As far as "tour recorded videos" go, I'm very pleased with it and tbf this song did deserve a tour footage type video. It wouldn't have fitted any other songs from the album (we was always gonna get one of these :lol:). It's a shame they weren't given this/this wasn't ready to be their winner's single after watching the video. I think it would have been a lot bigger than 'Cannonball' (500k-600k at least in total), but I love 'Cannonball', so I'm not complaining.

 

The wait makes sense now if they were waiting for actual tour footage to use. I'm assuming it was Nottingham they used then? :D But yeah, I still really love this so I just want it to be a top 20 hit at least.

Apparently they scrapped the first video and only filmed this last week.

Very disappointed with the video as everyone else. This is not the original video they were going for, so that one must have been scrapped for whatever reason. Their management did tweet something about shooting a new video a week ago or so. Now it all makes sense why the video premieres so late, I'm sure this new one was only filmed a week ago when they were about to go on tour.

 

I really like this song, it doesn't deserve to be treated like this.

That was a wig Katy Perry wore in the 'California Gurls' video. She didn't actually dye her hair violet/purple. Oh dear (or is she wearing a wig too?!!!) :lol:

What is with them and videos, Wings got delayed so they could record extra scenes to make it better and now the original CYL video gets completely scrapped. I'm not a big fan of the one we've got, I always feel like videos like this one look fanmade, I don't pay much attention to them when they come on the music channel for instance. It is boosting the song on iTunes though so it's doing it's job, personally though I'm not a fan, Wings is their only video I've properly liked. :(
