I like how at the end of last night's episode, there was a shot of Phil and Ian just nattering away!

Can't wait for next week, Ronnie is back on Monday with an extra episode on Weds.
I appear to have lost all interest in Eastenders, and this is coming from someone who usually watches throughout all apparent "dry patches" and terrible scripts.

But VERONICA is BACK. I'll be watching for the first time in about six weeks.

Oh well of course that's going to win me back - at least for the first week. ICE QUEEN.

I hope it's alright to post these, I think everyone is quite aware of Peggy's one off return so:

Loving the new hair! Scenes air on Friday 20 September.

I am PUMPED for Peggy's return. It'll be interesting to see her interact with some newbies, as is always the case with returnees.

Speaking of which, I feel like they really tried to build up Ronnie's return in Monday's episode but it's all fallen a bit flat so far. I hope they pull it out of the bag over the course of this week.

I'll be disappointed if there isn't some sort of falling out between Peggy and Sharon. A couple of slaps would be good. :D

I agree, although I find it doesn't feel strange seeing Ronnie back, kind of like she hasn't been away. Suppose that could be because she's been mentioned here and there in the couple of years she been away and obviously much more frequently in the past few weeks.

I think Peggy only has scenes with Billy and Phil doesn't she? And maybe Ronnie and Roxy (I would hope anyway).

Ronnie's first episode back was great. The first episode I've really enjoyed/haven't cringed at in a long time.

What a great week! So happy to see Ronnie back and Samantha Womack is such a great actress I just hope she considers staying a bit longer than 6 months...good to see the show finally getting back on track but only one criticism, I want to see less Branning stories please it's getting boring!

I always knew Alice would come good in the end. Michael will be terribly missed but for the birth of Alice the vengeful murderer it will be worth it.

Michael is going to be such a big loss to the show, he's one of my favourite characters ever. I have a crush on him too, ha!

I really can't stand Michael. Never taken to him as a character at all...

Alice murdering him though? I still just find her hilarious, because she's such a wet drip... I suppose it's better than the predictable 'black widow Janine' again though.

I was really warming to Kat until she did that  selfish cow.

I'm really going to miss Jean.

Beautiful episode, some great acting from Gillian Wright. I am going to miss her, such a great character - Probably my favorite! I am so glad she got a happy ending but the bit at the end 'if they ever call...' killed me. I hope they put some news that Stacey or Sean gets back in touch with her.
I'm going to miss Jean, at least it had a happy ending for her, I even shedded a tear.
Delighted Jean got her happy ending. Can Abi please be beaten and left for dead in a ditch? Cheeky cow.
