January 3, 201312 yr I have no idea! I was going through my #1's list of 2012 (which isn't exactly long thanks to Euphoria!) and thought, SHIT I've forgotten Agnes
January 3, 201312 yr Author 08: JUSTIN BIEBER | 'BELIEVE' CHART RUN: [1-2-2-4-4-2-4-4-4-3-3-4-2-7-8-8-9-9-5-8-9] ; (21 Weeks) d-uuu6Uoq1o Album Ranking: 08.0 'All Around the World' (feat. Nicki Minaj) 08.0 'One Love' 07.5 'Be Alright' 09.0 'Believe' 06.0 'Out Of Town Girl' 07.5 'She Don't Like the Lights' 07.0 'Maria' At number 8 we have a rather, surprisingly brilliant album, by the Beiber! Now, I've never really disliked Bieber and have always thought he gets far too much hate/people hating on him for the sake of it and jumping on the bandwagon etc... (they still very much do!) but this album took me by complete surprise. After only liking one or two songs from his debut era (yes 'Baby' is one of those songs, and what?! :P) I thought this would be more of the same and that he wouldn't be ready to produce an album as good as this until at LEAST album #3/#4. But this is such a mature, progression from him. The production on a lot of the tracks are so current that a couple of the tracks, Justin Timberlake would kill to have. 'As Long As You Love Me' should have been a much bigger hit than it was and same goes for 'Beauty & A Beat'. His deliverance in a lot of the songs are so slick and smooth. He doesn't completely abandon the pop sound from his first album though, as 'Fall', 'Thought Of You' and 'Believe' could easily have been on 'My Worlds' (either version). I'm very excited to hear more from him in the future and I hope he can produce an album at least close the brilliance of this album.
January 3, 201312 yr Author 08: LITTLE MIX | 'WINGS' CHART RUN: [2-1-1-1-3-2-2-4-3-6-9-13-16-22-29-39] ; (16 Weeks) cOQDsmEqVt8 EOY Finishes: 2011: 36| 'Cannonball' 2012:???| 'DNA' 2012: 08| 'Wings' Last years X Factor winners, Little Mix, finished at an impressive #36 on my 2011 EOY chart, after just a couple of weeks on my chart last year. This year they manage to grab themselves TWO places inside my top 10! First up is the cracking, proper debut single 'Wings'. It's infectious, catchy and perfectly captures everything about why we loved them on The X Factor. It's definitely up there as one of the greatest X Factor debut singles ever. It's so fresh, original and inspiring. When I first saw the video, I couldn't help but think Jade was/is the star of the group. But overall, I love the chemistry between these four girls and I really hope they can have lasting success! 'DNA' is of course still to come!
January 3, 201312 yr Author 07: OLLY MURS | 'RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME' CHART RUN: [3-2-3] ; (3 Weeks) ** STILL CHARTING ** hdko1OAckjA Album Ranking: 09.0 'Army Of Two' 10.0 'Troublemaker' (feat. It out performs his debut (finished at #20 in 2010's EOY chart) and second album (which finished in 10th last year), deservedly so too. It's just as brilliant and as consistent as the former two. I love the tiny bit of experimentation he does on this album. Especially in the highlight track of 'Right Place, Right Time'. It's typical Olly Murs, but with a slight twist (very much in the same vein as Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble'). It's only a month or so old (the chart run is out of date and only consists of it's run when I put the EOY chart together :P) but I can't bring myself to skip any of the tracks. It's just that strong. Had he had longer to make more of an impression, I'm pretty sure this would have challenged a bit harder for the top 5! I really hope he manages to improve with his next era, just as he seems to be doing! THE MALE RIHANNA, MUCH?!
January 3, 201312 yr Author 07: THE KILLERS | 'HERE WITH ME' CHART RUN: [1-2-7-14-27-32-36-6-5-26-45] ; (11 Weeks) 7SxTyvOixJA EOY Finishes: 2008: 08| 'Human' 2009: 19| 'Spaceman' 2010: 25| 'Crossfire' (Brandon Flowers) 2012: 07| 'Here With Me' 2012: 18| 'Runaways' 2012: 53| 'Miss Atomic Bomb' The number 7 single is a song, that has recently just re-entered my chart! It's one of the most beautiful songs, I think I have ever heard. It's the stunning 'Here With Me', by none other than, The Killers. It is their highest EOY position to date and I think had it been an official single for a larger part of 2012, it would have stormed it's way to number 3 in my EOY chart. But me being picky about album tracks charting in my EOY chart and the fact this wasn't really confirmed as a single until the video was released, this suffered slightly. It's definitely my second favourite from the album (it was an instant highlight - hence the debut at number 1!) behind the title track from that album. I was really hoping this would become a big hit for them, but this era has been their least successful to date. Such a shame as I think they're stronger than ever (may be a little biased due to seeing them live for the first time!)
January 3, 201312 yr Author Nice that you have a Justin Bieber track under Olly Murs. AGOG.I have NO IDEA what you're talking about

They finish at number 6 on my EOY albums countdown after delivering such a solid EP. I do wish it was more than that though, especially if the songs were going to be more in the vein of the obvious stand outs! Amy is so good at rap! Like, ridiculously good. Not quite "the female Eminem" most Karmin stans like to think she is, but she's definitely one of the best, white, female rappers out there. 'I Told You So' is so slick and fresh and the verses in 'Hello' are just... WOW. Nick, is a great singer too though. He should get more songs if 'Coming Up Strong' is anything to go by! So, yeah. Karmin just miss out on a top 5 placing, but mainly because it was an EP and not an album! Anticipating their debut album so MUCH.
January 3, 201312 yr Hey Jon! Great to see Paloma and Little Mix in your top ten - both great "comeback" singles :D Woo for two Taylor entries - I prefer "We Are Never...", but they're both great and the album is solid, I'm guessing it's still to come? "Troublemaker" got stale for me very quickly, I'm surprised you like it so much though! Where did "Heart Skips a Beat" and "Dance with Me Tonight" place here last year? Great charts so far! :D

Eric Saade) --- ERIC SAADE; 2011: 77| 'Popular' 2012: 06| 'Imagine' (Tone Damli feat.) Two huge Scandinavian popstars team up, to create one of the best pop singles of recent times! As if we didn't already know, Sweden is responsible for creating some of the greatest pop music ever (including my EOY number 1 :kink:), so to have their king of pop, team up with the princess of Norwegian pop, the result was always going to be nothing short of "Incredible". It's the highest non UK single, in my EOY chart at number 6. I genuinely believe, this could have been absolutely huge had it been given any sort of push over here. It's such a shame as I think it could be the peak of both artists career (even though they'll still deliver with their songs overall - just I doubt any could come close to this). This song really is "Pop Perfection" and the video is really good, for such a simple concept!

'Heart Skips A Beat' finished at #47 last year and 'Dance With Me Tonight' finished at #41. I'd definitely place DWMT higher now though (it's my favourite of his singles). It wasn't until this era though, that I realised just how much I loved him and his albums. 'In Case You Didn't Know' grew on me the more I listened to it and his debut was always very good, but I think with RPRT, it properly clicked that Olly is possibly my favourite male solo artist. Especially now that Ne-Yo seems to have lost his way a little. THANKS THEO :D

I was quite far down the tracklist of Right Place Right Time before I was impressed, and even now I can't remember the song's title. He is a decent artist though, and I've only recently begun to appreciate the singles taken from his first album. I know the #1 obviously, but I have no idea what else is there! :P
January 3, 201312 yr Author He's certainly one of those artists who knows how to pick singles, but also have the awesome album tracks to go with them. Each album has the brilliant singles (his singles are really, excellent!) but they also seem to have not just the one extra highlight but a couple of others too! I find them consistent and very "British" in it's sound (maybe it's just his accent that makes them feel like that?). His first album is a little patchy, when compared to his latest two albums (at the time it sounded just as strong, but I seem to notice more flaws with it now than I did back then ) but his second album has 'I'm Ok' and 'In Case You Didn't Know'. This album has 'Right Place, Right Time' and 'Sliding Doors'. I just think he's an artist. Do you really have no idea? Not even possibilities? :P

It's definitely an album of two halves. The first 8 or 9 tracks to please the Urban/Hip-Hop Nicki fans and then the rest to cater to the pop fans, but there is still some appeal for those who are in between, like myself. Her hip-hop tracks aren't as good as her pop tracks (for me) but I still love most of them! She can deliver a verse like no other! There are some true pop anthems on here that didn't get the single treatment. 'Whip It', 'Automatic', 'Marilyn Monroe' & 'Young Forever' all deliver, with the latter two showing a completely different side to Nicki that not many of us had heard before, despite teasing us on the debut with tracks like 'Fly', 'Dear Old Nicki' and the like. 'Beez In the Trap''s production is possibly the best from this album. There's a certain buzz about the track, that stops it from being completely generic hip-hop. Nicki's verses are slick, with a hook that would please a pop fan! It's definitely a favourite amongst her fans, that both pop and hip hop fans seem to love. Although I've LOVED both albums from her, I do wish she'd drop the whole Pink Friday tag. Move on will yer.
