Ever since they released 'I Found You' they've been on a massive decline, I wonder who thought that was a good idea?

'Glad You Came' was always going to be their pinnacle though.

Glad You Came was the only thing they ever released that was actually really good in my opinion. Chasing the Sun is ok although it's GYC in all but name.
The highlight of their career (or highlightS) are so obviously 'Lose My Mind' and 'Glad You Came'. They both stick out so much in comparison to their other stuff.
It's deserved. They went from being spot on and brilliant to releasing utter dirge and scrapping an entire album of high profile collaborations for what they did out out. It's just bizarre.

I don't think its deserved. I actually think their new album is pretty good, not a bad track on there. Its unfortunate this album has done really badly but I think the release strategy was really odd.

I count 3 I've heard: I Found You, Walks Like Rihanna and Show Me Love (America).

The album has just about sold 30,000 copies so far which is very poor for them. I was never a big fan of the group as i often found they had more ego than talent but walks like rihanna and we won the night i found extremely catchy.
It's not as bad as union j's album performance at least?

i think investments will be their biggest issue

for example, the Union J album probably was realitvly low budget in comparison, the Wanted also spent £250,000 on a private jet to come over for an X Factor performance that should have ensured they got bigger sales

Because that's a valid comparison considering Union J are still building a fanbase and still trying to get themselves out there to see what people like; whereas The Wanted (a developed group who have a massive fanbase) have more years behind them.

They were never terrible, but they were far too arrogant for their own good, and had too many duds cancelling out their better moments. When a song like Walks Like Rihanna is the best they can come up with for a lead single you know its time to go, conversely, I must've been in the minority that really liked We Own The Night & Show Me Love :(

I really like We Own The Night. Show Me Love is on my iTunes for more of a personal reason, not because its anything more than a cheesy desperate cry for help
'Chasing The Sun' was an absolutely PERFECT song even though I'm the only person who loves it. (It was a bit of a 'Glad You Came' ripoff but it was a lot better than that (which is still their 2nd best song)). Those two along with 'All Time Low' and 'Gold Forever' were all really good but the rest of their discography... no thanks. 'Show Me Love (America)' was a total nadir and I'm not surprised it seems to have ended them. Expecting a split announcement any day with Nathan fast tracking into a solo career.

I wouldn't be surprised if a Greatest Hits is released - even digitally, they have released 12 singles.

I just can't see them wanting to quit it, maybe somebody else will sign them up?

They have about as much passion for music as a bin. They'll quit when they think there's no money/fame in it.
I think a greatest hits could do ok for them as they have done well with singles but not as good with albums, i do think they are finished though although we own the night was a decent track in my opinion.
A Greatest Hits album would almost be as terrible as JLS' (even if there are one or two highlights). The only worthy inclusions would be 'Glad You Came', 'Lose My Mind' and 'Show Me Love (America)'. :kink:
Surley their fanbase would buy it though? To be fair to them 10 of the 12 singles have gone top 10
I think their personalities have destroyed their careers - Max especially. I've never seen more desperation in a musician than I can see in him.
