Just seen a tweet that CASCADA are apparently entering the German ESC selection this year.

So, I thought I'd start this thread!

Preparing for a TRAINWRECK months in advance. Thanks for the heads up Rob <3
Ha! PLEASE let this happen, would make my trip to Eurovision so much more worth it! Currently obsessing over their Xmas album

The almost full line-up, one more act is to be revealed soon:

> Ben Ivory - The Righteous Ones

> Betty Dittrich - Lalala

> Blitzkids mvt. - Heart On The Line

> Cascada - Glorious

> Finn Martin - Change

> LaBrassBanda - Nackert

> Mobilée - Little Sister

> Nica & Joe - Elevated

> Die Priester feat Mojca Erdmann - Ave Maris Stella

> Saint Lu - Craving

> Söhne Mannheims - One Love

My love affair with Cascada has never waned so PLEASE do the right thing Germany (unless one of the other songs is truly life enhancing of course)

Unless there's something else amazing in there, they'll definitely choose Cascada... She's completely made for the Eurovision, and I'm sure they'll realise this!
Oooh Blitzkids mvt. of the BJSC fame!

YES PLEASE to Cascada. Could potentially be amazing or just laughable. I'd never envisioned them ever representing Germany, just like I'd never thought about the likes of Scooter or something, because Germany's normally more SERIOUS and BORING than that (Lena aside).

Everytime We Touch is still a HUGELY loved tune in my student world and a lot of people still know who they are, this could be good for drawing in viewers if there is a big name on the stage in advance.

Scooter were absolutely robbed in 2004 :(

Which is why I worry that Germany will plump for something incredibly dull again over Cascada.

Cascada! :o I love them! I really hope they get chosen!
Germany would almost certainly get points from the UK if Cascada were sent, I think tATu in 2003 were the last non-UK act to be sent to Eurovision that had recently achieved a UK #1 (ok tATu's #1 four months prior to the contest was more recent than Cascada's 2009 chart topper but the point stands :P)
Screw Cascada, we have Blitzkids mvt. *.*

And how many points did t.A.T.u get from us? :P

True but I'm assuming Cascada wouldn't be presenting Glorious in German if chosen! I was surprised that the UK gave nothing to tATu but then foreign language tracks never do well in the UK voting (and frankly I thought it was a piss weak song next to their amazing singles)!

Cascada! I am so on board (even if my love has waned a little since the 'Evacuate the Dancefloor' era!). I still have a special place for them in my heart.
Y'all you never even heard Cascada's song!
Based on Cascada's recent record, I'm pretty sure the chorus goes "we're glorious, for never til the start of time..." :kink:
