Yay! :cheer: I'm looking forward to this, I like a lot of the music in your chart (mainly because it's basically the Radio 1 playlist), so I'm hopefully going to enjoy this chart! :D

Okays, let's get going!

Starting with...MY LEAST FAVOURITE SONGS OF 2012

Not gonna waste a whole lot of time with this, so let's give them all a nice slap in the face before moving on~

Flo Rida - I Cry

Isn't this just basically 'Good Feeling'? One 'Good Feeling' was more than enough thanks

Dappy (ft. Brian May) - Rockstar

Carbon copy of No Regrets, with a guitar solo. One of the songs i unwillingly heard FAR too much this year (thanks sis)

Marcus Collins - Seven Nation Army

Who SERIOUSLY thought this was a good idea?!

Ne-Yo - Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)

BLAND AFFAIR

Jessie J (ft. David Guetta) - LaserLight

BLAND AFFAIR

Usher - Scream

DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love Pt. II (Alternate Lyric Version)

Tulisa - Young / Live It Up / Sight Of You

Yep. All 3.

Alyssa Reid - Alone Again

Very dated production, lack of any redeeming features or personality- i'm baffled as to why this was a hit (sorry Iz!)

Amelia Lily - You Bring Me Joy

Hollow, repetitive, and just goes nowhere. Overrated

will.i.am (ft. Britney Spears) - Scream & Shout

A monotonous noise, with lyrics that feel uninspired and lazy. Begone plz

Calvin Harris (ft. Ne-Yo) - Let's Go

Typical 'club banger', done in predictable Calvin Harris style. BLAND AFFAIR.

And my Worst song of 2012 is....

Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up

What the public saw in this, i'll never quite know. An irritatingly inoffensive verse leads up to a mess of a chorus, with Chris puking vocoder all over the place. Ugh, just no

Now that's sorted...i'll be starting my ALBUM CHART countdown tomorrow, YAY etc.

Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up

Yes! Someone else who thinks this is the worst song of the year! I don't like Chris but the overuse of autotune in the chorus really puts me off.

I really like some of the other songs in your hate chart :( Such as Let Me Love You, Let's Go, Scream & Shout and some others

Hey, Alyssa aside (and a bit of Amelia + I'd be preferring you hated a different Flo song) all of those songs are very deserving of hate and most of them make up my worst songs of the year too. But not to dwell too much on hate and destruction and the like, I'm looking forward to seeing what's in your love chart and will award myself a gold star for everything I share tastes with you on.
Yes! Someone else who thinks this is the worst song of the year!

Make that three. Truly terrible song, if ever there was a reason to want dance out of the charts it's this song smashing.

Why does everyone hate Don't Wake Me Up?! It's incredible! :(

Thanks for replying guys, glad most of you agree about the Chris Brown track

Why does everyone hate Don't Wake Me Up?! It's incredible! :(

In your opinion :D

Turn Up The Music is worse (nothing is worse than that DIRGE). But it's still pretty awful.
In your opinion :D

Seriously though, who could resist that instrumental? :(

#16 fun. - Some Nights

Scissor Sisters' latest release "Magic Hour" only manages a #20 place- it has its moments (Shady Love and Let's Have a Kiki being the ones for me), but unfortunately pales in comparison to the amazing "Night Work". King Charles offered a mix of bright, catchy folk-pop for his debut, while Keane make a shift back to the soft-rock style that served them well on their first two albums; nothing groundbreaking (obviously), but there are some nice melodies to be found on "Strangeland". The Vaccines's second album lacks the energy of the debut, but is still a good listen. At #16 is Some Nights, an album i really enjoyed in the Spring-Summer months. Some of the songs seem slightly forgettable after a while, it does get bonus points for introducting me to the awesome "Aim & Ignite" :D

#11 Lianne La Havas - Is Your Love Big Enough?

Three impressive debut albums, one from indietronica trio Niki & The Dove, and the other two from soul singer Lianne La Havas and quirky folk newcomers Stealing Sheep. Conveniently, all 3 acts have scored one #1 hit on my chart this year. Although Sleigh Bells couldn't quite reach the awesome heights of debut LP "Treats", it still feels like they've made some progeression sound-wise. Enter Shikari were a real curiosity for me at the start of the year, and i found myself enjoying the fusion of their post-hardcore sound with electronic/dubstep elements

HAI

Mostly agreeable so far. 'Don't Wake Me Up' isn't quite THE worst song of the year but it's certainly in the top 5. I actually quite liked Chris Brown before this era so I will never understand how this is his most successful era. ('Run It!' is INCRED, can we have that Chris back and not awful vocoder mess Chris please).

Yay for someone else who likes/has heard of Stealing Sheep. Admittedly I only know two of their songs :kink: but they're both pretty great.

Decent top 10 albums there, nothing I wouldn't listen to, although I'm not overly sure about Plan B's album. Good number one, was in my top 10. Jessie continues to grow on me too.

Alt-J and Grimes!

I'm really enjoying the chart at the moment, keep up the good music taste! :D

Jessie Ware  Snap position in my album chart too, brilliant album!
