A great way of doing this Ghosty! A friend of mine at work gave me that Kamaylia album but I never listened to it, will have to check it out now!

You should! It's a little misleading as the tracklisting makes it look like a Remix album, but all the songs are just radio edit length UK mixes :D

More love for Susan Sundfor I see. It's a great song, although I prefer Maps' remix of White Foxes to the original.

I prefer the original myself, but White Foxes is a million times better than (the ever so slighty overrated) Running To The Sea. I was really pleased that White Foxes was my joint most successful entry into BJSC this year :D. You should join the contest when the registration thread reopens, you'd be a great addition!

I think I signed up for it about a year ago, but got scared off by the rules and depth involved. I'll probably look into joining it sometime next year.

01 Loreen - Euphoria [Of course. No surprises here, but it's not wearing on me at ALL. One of my all time favourite songs now!]

04 Girls Aloud - Something New

05 Loreen - My Heart Is Refusing Me [Two entries inside the top 5!! Amazing. A shame 'Crying Out Your Name' couldn't make your final 50! Really wanted COYN to be a monster hit!]

17 Ditte Marie - Overflow

Happy New Year Martin :D

Here's some of my faves from 2012 in your end of year chart.

01 Loreen - Euphoria

Whilst I may not have looned over this track half as much as you, GD, Jonjo and other Buzzjackers, 'Euphoria' still became my #1 of 2012 with quite a comfortable lead. It's the best song I've heard from a Eurovision Song Contest in a long time. It's become more than just another Eurovision song. For me, this is up there with tracks like 'Spectrum (Say My Name)', 'Run Boy Run', 'We Are Young' and 'Call Me Maybe'. It's a shame the UK are still anti-Eurovision but at least we can still look back fondly on those 24 hours when Loreen ruled iTunes. :D

07 Ivi Adamou - La La Love

'La La Love' was my second fave Eurovision track of 2012 but there really wasn't any comparison between this and 'Euphoria'.

10 iamamiwhoami - goods

Clearly not an iamamiwhoami loon but when I heard 'goods' for the first time I really did think *.* as 'play' hadn't really grabbed my attention at all in BJSC. 'goods' got to #5 in my chart.

13 Above & Beyond feat. Zoë Johnston - Love Is Not Enough

I really liked this yet post BJSC, there were a few other tracks that grew on me more - particularly 'Bassline'. This went from getting my 12 points to just peaking at #12. I still like the track though.

14 The Storm - Raver

39 The Storm - My Crown

Higher than 'My Crown'? Both tracks did well for me but 'Raver' just missed my top 10 peaking at #11 whilst 'My Crown' went three places better peaking at #8. Personally, I still prefer their track 'Lost In The Water' that I entered into Unknown Pleasures ages ago.

16 Dream Beats feat. The Face - Love Stuck

What a great pop track. Thanks to Eyes entering this into BJSC, the track got to #3 in my chart. Just missed out on my top 40 of 2012. It ended up somewhere in the 50s.

28 Retro Stefson - Glow

:D I don't care if this bombed in BJSC (yet secured a place in The Rejects), I still think 'Glow' is a great track that's already been a top 10 hit for me too. Will be interesting to see if Retro Stefson get their big breakthrough in 2013.

30 Marina And The Diamonds - Primadonna

'Primadonna' did well for me getting as high as #6 but her BJSC winning track 'Hollywood' remains Marina's biggest hit to date in my chart.

33 Dia Frampton - Billy The Kid

A classic case of a song growing on you months after its appearance in BJSC. For me, it was 'Little Talks' that had the biggest post-BJSC impact although it still took a good six months to finally click with me.

49 War Of Words - Panic

Interesting to see this here. 'Panic' was entered into BJSC when I hosted in 2011. Poor Tirren, he really thought he was onto a winner with this track yet it didn't even come close (think it ended up 19th in the final or something like that)

Amazing. LorQueen! <3

Thanks Jonjo! :D

01 - Same! It's already in my top 10 songs of all time, and I too am nowhere near bored of it!

05 - COYN was a little bit of a disappointing follow up to Euphoria which let it down in my EOY chart as a single, but I really like all the tracks on the album!

33 - I had a listen to some clips of it and wasn't blown away by it sadly, maybe if I see it cheap one day though I'll pick it up!

02 - Yeah I agree! Everytime is just stunning

Dream Beats so high. Largely excellent top 20 - entries from Loreen and Timoteij especially deserving of love.

I thought you'd be pleased with Love Stuck's performance here! Shame everything's gone very quiet with The Face now :(

I might regret putting Billy The Kid that high in a couple of months time, but for now it slots in nicely there for me :D

Brilliant EOY of chart Ghosty, loving Loreen, Girls Aloud, Timoteij and Ivi in the top 10!

Thanks Rich! :D

01 - Absolutely! I was over the moon when she won, although I think I might have actually died that night had the voting been based on televotes alone, it would have come down to the last 12 points I imagine! :drama:

05 - Without checking, I think this is the first time  . MHIRM probably should have come top last year looking back, but never mind!

06 -, I guess I can see her point even if to the trained Swedish folk-pop loving ear they sound nothing alike!

12 - The best UK #1 hit of the year imo!

13 - Glad you liked it! :D I wonder what 2013 will hold for both of us in the contest, I definitely need to up my game! :drama:

19 - I know :( Stupid jury!

21 - Agreed, and from the sound of Claire on BB earlier it seems like Steps have called it a day again :(

44 - I know! Well, I quite liked singles #2 and #3 from the debut album and although The Flood was nice, it was nothing on Promise This! I can't even remember what the follow up single to Call My Name was!

48 - It was quite nice, yeah! It would have ended up in my top 40 of the year!

01 - Shame, play was not amongst my favourites on the album oddly enough, idle talk was by far the best for me! So moving!

04 - Got to agree with that! Although I still maintain that it should have included DGBMH and the dance mix of One Last Time as bonus tracks!

05 - I thought it was a very strong year in 2012, not sure what 2013 will bring though! I can totally see me supporting Swedish House Wives though!

09 - Really?! It's comfortably my favourite of her albums

13 - Agreed with that! If she does a fourth album she needs to come up with a new sound I think.

18 - I sort of feel the same, but it did have some very nice gems on there at the same time!

Thanks Chris! Happy new year to you too! :D

01 - It definitely more than just a Eurovision song and I'm so happy the UK managed to get it into the top 3 on the official chart (even though it should have been number one... for about 4 months! :D )

07 - I feel exactly the same! It seems we were both on trend with the rest of the UK too as apart from Engelbert, Euphoria and La La Love charted the most successfully here :D

10 - I'm glad they caught your attention in some way though! :D goods was the only track to hit #1 on my chart, idle talk and drops being held off by the mighty Euphoria!

13 - Sometimes that happens! I'm often regretting not giving more poitns to some entries! I'm obviously glad you liked it most at the time though! :P

14/39 - My Crown was already quite old for me at the start of the year so that's had an effect here. I like both tracks fairly equally though! My favourite of theirs was the song I sent to BJSC, Wall Of Shame. The album it was taken from was more metal sounding than their recent LP and I did slightly prefer The Storm when they had that heavier sound.

16 - It is so good! Very reminiscent of some previous Alcazar singles!

28 - I was so unhappy that it flopped, especially as I'd shunned Arlissa in favour of them (What a mistake! :drama: ). Had I also known you were toying with sending it and everyone had told you not to I would have scrapped the idea of sending it immediately . That said, I would not be surprised if they had moderate international success with it and followed in the footsteps of fellow Icelandic act, Of Monsters And Men.

30 - Same, although Mowgli's Road hit #1 on my chart as well iirc!

33 - It happens every year! This was the biggest grower for me though, easily!

49 - Yeah it sort of passed me by a bit in BJSC but then it got it's official release in January 2012 and I got the 12" of it - it sounded far better on record (weirdly) and as a result I developed a newfound affinity with the song!

Thanks Rich! :D

01 - Absolutely! I was over the moon when she won, although I think I might have actually died that night had the voting been based on televotes alone, it would have come down to the last 12 points I imagine! :drama:

06 -, I guess I can see her point even if to the trained Swedish folk-pop loving ear they sound nothing alike!

13 - Glad you liked it! :D I wonder what 2013 will hold for both of us in the contest, I definitely need to up my game! :drama:

18 - I sort of feel the same, but it did have some very nice gems on there at the same time!

1. Indeed, I'd have been a complete wreck as the final few sets of votes came in!

5. I remember last year thinking that Loreen would be at the top and was mildy surprised that Kati Wolf did it as you were lukewarm about the song at first iirc, or at least in comparison to the hi-NRG anthem of the previous year, Je Ne Sais Quoi! Imagine if Loreen had been #1 two years running! :o

6. Yes I suppose so

13. I have no idea, I haven't even started to think about it!

21. That's gutting if it's true, partly because I wanted a new pop album (was it ever likely to happen anyway?) and partly because I have a Steps calendar this year! They need to stop disbanding after mopping up all the calendar sales!

44. Under The Sun, nice enough pop song but nothing next to Call My Name!

4. DGBMH should definitely have featured on there somewhere, can't believe it was snubbed!

5. Yeah it was very good, Euphoria, Mirakel and Amazing especially, can't wait to hear the Swedish House Wives track, imagine if Swedish House Mafia's final hurrah had been at Melodifestivalen and Don't You Worry Child had been their entry!

13. Definitely, it's all a bit 2007 at the moment!
