Never Let Me Go is so underrated, it's nice to see it show up in SOMEONE'S countdown.

Sorry Griff. :(

-_-

:kink:

-x-

Teenage Icon, Locked Out Of Heaven, Don't Wake Me Up, DNA, Big Hoops, Never Let Me Go (although Spectrum SHOULD be in your countdown but let's ignore that) and Anything Can Happen are all SUBLIME! Never Let Me Go is particularly underrated. :D

I think Never Let Me Go is underrated. Do you think Never Let Me Go is underrated? Umi & I think that Never Let Me Go is underrated. Do you think that Never Let Me Go is underrated? Griff, Umi & I think that Never Let Me Go is underrated. Do you think Never Let Me Go is underrated?

(nice chart :kink:)

OH KLUMZEE. This is why leaving is NOT an option.

("Never Let Me Go" & "Spectrum" should switch their success, still don't know why the latter did so well)

Yeah why're you copying my format Jack?

Cover Drive being here is great. I hope Twilight and Sparks are FAR higher.

Anything Can Happen I no longer wish to die. You can have that one.

Twilight has already been and gone love.

I think Iz jinxed it. Now they just have a featured credit left. The best effort from Cover Drive solo wise turned out to be a slower effort that took some inspiration from fellow Islander Rihanna and "What's My Name".

Quite a random 'hit' but it's cool electro-pop and has a nice more subtle hook.

I'm probably the only one who hasn't forgotten this song. :( One from earlier in the year and although the cheer-leading felt a bit annoying at first, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. completely make this song (although tacking on two rappers didn't exactly help chart success oops). I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. You tell 'em M.I.A.

Quen Rochele couldn't even make the top 60 despite this being a #1 in my chart back in April. Well it is The Saturdays after all, they're only known for flopping these days. Still a pretty good song though and the video is everything, can make so many usable gifs.

I've had a bad day. You've had a bad day. We've had a bad day. Amazing censoring Glee, we applaud you.

I haven't forgotten about this song! I still adore it! It's a lot better than most of Madonna's songs as well.

Such a laid-back, chilled track. Great direction for McFly who are still ploughing on nine years later. I still have no idea what's with the spoken middle-eight but what the hell. It adds to the appeal.

The first of a couple of k-pop entries (no PSY to see here I'm afraid) is from Yu's girls. That chorus is just something else.

A great up-tempo pop single from Nicki but it lacks a little 'oomph' that "Starships" has.

Never been that interested in the Mumfords before but this song came about at the right time and breaks my heart with each listen. :(

I was all over this track for a couple of weeks at the start of summer. Far East Movement don't bring much in the verses (though would we ever expect them to), it's just all about the chorus. It ends far too abruptly for my liking, would be better to end on a good note (ie. Amanda).

I don't like Va Va Voom, it's my least favourite from Queen Nicki. :(

And Lover Of The Light breaks my heart with every listen, it's such a beautiful song.

The gifs are the only good thing to come out of '30 Days'. It's the musical equivalent of someone using defibrilators but failing to save the person they're using them on.

What a wonderful way of putting it.

The first of three Eurovision entries that I've hand-picked (oh you'll never guess what one of them is), this didn't fully click until the night itself with that performance and that dress. Azerbaijan have done it again. I've been living for Sabina's vocals ever since.

Oh Marina, what can we say. This got a couple of weeks at #1 on my chart but has suffered a tad here due to getting a bit annoying/coming on too early in the year/Marina being too indie for majah success.

Another of Bray's faves. I found this pretty dull at first but it clicked around April/May time (the same time Glee decided it would be good to do a cover) and these days I find it quite inspirational. Powerful lyrics, Jason. Great vocal work too.

Why wasn't this bigger. Not only is it EMELI, it's one of her best as well. So simple but great production from Naughty Boy. It also features in my favourite

of the moment.

Icelandic band OMAM just miss the top 50 with this little ditty. Great blend of male and female vocals with a nice melody.

Well that's AWFUL. How could anyone prefer Turn Up The Love to any of their singles is just baffling, I didn't even think of it.

And Little Talks out before the top 50 as well, this is going DISASTROUSLY. :(

Sabina  Nice to see the patron saint of plastic surgery show up here! :D So low though, and you've only picked three Eurovision songs?! Some Eurovision stan.

I've thrown in some Melodifestivalen for good measure!!

Officially the most fabulous woman to have ever graced the earth. http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/icons/disco.gif

Should've been a bigger hit than it was, such a catchy bubblegum pop type song. And the 'rap'/middle 8 is all kinds of wonderful.

Although I love Maroon 5 and consider them to be one of my favourite bands, Bray will be pleased to hear that they have no songs in this countdown (unless you caught my typo where I originally listed this as them rather than Olly ssh) whilst this sound-a-like makes it in at #48. Keep up the good work Olly, you keep getting better and better.

Featuring uncredited vocals from Labrinth's sister (huge name right there) on the chorus, this was another #2 hit for beautiful Aiden on my chart. If only it was huge everywhere, I forget how good it is until I actually listen but the emotion is <3 (Plus the train geek in me loves the quick glimpse of what seems to be a DLR train in the video, only rivalled by Alexandra's party on the

)

My precious Imagine Dragons. Still drowning my sorrows about this performing better than "It's Time" in BJSC, but justice will be served here.

Little Talks + Troublemaker + Radioactive =

Love these:

#54 Marina & The Diamonds - Primadonna

#52 Naughty Boy (feat. Emeli Sandé) - Wonder

#51 Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks

#49 Karmin - Brokenhearted

#48 Maroon 5 - Troublemaker

#47 Aiden Grimshaw - Curtain Call

#46 Imagine Dragons - Radioactive - The album is divine

It is. Will pop up next year following the UK release, could've included it this year but oh well.

It seems ripping off my EOY #1 from the year before will only get you to #45. It's still a super track but the album contains much better.

Best mate of One Direction, Ed Sheeran, just beats them here with a song which properly clicked a couple of months ago when I went to see him live. Truly incredible. Beautiful. That final chorus is everything.

Don't freak out too much Haus! The first and best single from teen 'heart-throb' Conor Maynard (well he's not exactly Justin Bieber is he, he has a strange face), he should make more songs like this rather than generic shit such as "Vegas Girl".

We'll have no Griff negativity here! After all, IT'S ALWAYS A GOOD TIME. :hic: (unless you're Owl City, then it's always an uncomfortable time)

It's that ginger again! The song that really got me to come around to Ed, get clicking that above link because it's one of my favourite videos of the year. The cat is so awww.

(He's cute I tell ya!)

I STILL don't understand the appeal of Good Time. :( By far the worst song of the year.

The APPEAL is the v.catchy hook. And how mis-matched they look in the video.

If you're looking for a song with no appeal, go try STIUTK.
