Who will be the most likeable suspect to reach #1 next week, out of these contenders, James Arthur, will.i.am/Britney Spears and Psy, or any other suspect, please state your reasons.

I originally thought James would get a 3rd week, but having seen the sales figures this week, I think will.i.am will get it. I'm still not really sure though.

Sounds like that could be an album title of theirs.

Realistically, I think it'll be will/Brit. PSY has a massive lead to gain onto James Arthur and brit.i.am and as much as I want him back at #1, it seems highly unlikely.

 

Scream & Shout will gain on James throughout the week I'm guessing, with New Years it seems it'll be promoted due to the fact it's a very clubby sorta tune compared to Impossible. Not too sure of James' physical will be that strong anymore to make him keep his #1 for a consecutive week.

I can just see it being announced as the #1 on Sunday. :D

It's certainly unpredictable as there won't be any likely iTunes gift card effects this week but it's New Years Eve/Day so all three songs will benefit from being played at parties, and then again I doubt everyone will have spent their iTunes credit that fast so maybe there is potential for decent sales again this week.

 

I think it'll be close between all three songs but PSY could well benefit the most. I'll predict:

 

01 (03) PSY

02 (02) Will.I.Am ft. Britney Spears

03 (01) James Arthur
