January 3, 201312 yr That's an excellent top 5. 3 made my top 100, Little Talks almost did and Euphoria is excellent for what it is. The only song I dislike is Princess of China, they can both make excellent records but I've always found that dreadfully flat. Interesting to see PNAU vs. Elton in there, I heard one single from that album on the radio and it seemed interesting, seems like something I might like to be honest! Edit: Just listened to 'Good Morning...' and also 'Sad'. They're both excellent so I've just bought the album, £3.49!
January 3, 201312 yr Author Brilliant chart Matt, nothing I dislike at the top end, LIVING for Euphoria still and of course Somebody That I Used To Know is amazing, my EOY #4 and #1 too, just the other way round  Thanks Rich. We have great taste! :D

So pleased you like it, £3.49 is a great deal. I think I paid £7 when I got it on CD last year.
January 3, 201312 yr Wow excellent top 3 singles, and all 3 tracks feature in my top 10 of the year, well we both have Gotye at #1... SNAP. For me Loreen in the end I just couldn't bear it no more, it quickly fell away in my personal chart.
January 3, 201312 yr Author Wow excellent top 3 singles, and all 3 tracks feature in my top 10 of the year, well we both have Gotye at #1... SNAP. Thanks Martin, I know you are a fan of Woodkid as well. I think we my have the same personal chart number 1 next week, btw :D
January 3, 201312 yr Hi Matt :D Thought I'd already commented here but obviously not, Oops!!! :P 01. Gotye feat. Kimbra <--- Amazing, one of my big hits of 2011 after sending the track to BJSC. How many points did you give the track in BJSC? I can't even remember if you entered that contest. So happy it became so successful, really deserved. It's such a unique track, there really isn't anything else like it that's tried to repeat this songs success. I think that's what makes 'STIUTK' so special. 02. Woodkid <--- Adore, I also agree it's by far the best BJSC winner from 2012. Had Arrs not entered it, this would've been my entry. 03. Of Monsters And Men <--- Woop! Another big hit for me in 2012 although this took ages to grow on me but when it did, it did so in fine style. I think 'Little Talks' is the only song in 9 years that's entered at #40 and ended up topping my chart. 04. Loreen <--- Euphoric, what an incredible song - as I've posted elsewhere, it's much more than just another Eurovision track. Your top 4 of 2012 are all chart toppers for me. Jester bringing the ace taste. :D 05. Underworld <--- London Olympics was the TV event of the year (Golden Jubilee AGOG) - it marked a stark contrast to the summer of 2011 with the riots across the country. 2012 was the year everyone came together to celebrate everything that was Great about Britain. Just a shame 2013 isn't already for any big events to keep this going. :( This track got to #2 for me but those few weeks whilst the Olympics were on TV, this was one of my summer soundtracks. 06. fun. <--- Snap!!! I sampled your thread for my Chart of 2012 (hope you don't mind). I'd read Rob's comment about fun. being sixth, then realised they were 6th in my chart too. So yes, there are some related quotes there. :D Anthemic and joyous, thank you Glee for raising this songs' profile. :D 07. Coldplay feat. Rihanna <--- Well, I'm aware of how big a Coldplay fan you are. Poor 'Charlie Brown' didn't get a look in. Are we to assume that's your #16 of the year? :P 09. PSY <--- Op, op, op, op (yeah we know how it goes :P ). The best novelty song of 2012 and this will keep going for a long time I reckon. 11. Pink <--- Unsure how you compiled this chart but considering 'Try' was released towards the end of 2012, it's great to see the track high here. Fantastic track and one of the best tracks Pink has released as a single. 12. Florence & The Machine <--- Getting Calvin Harris to remix this track was a great idea and the end results was brilliant. Alongside Woodkid, this was my personal summer anthem. 14. Adele <--- Sublime, classy, silky smooth and that's just the opening bars of the song. Having read your commentary, all Adele tracks that topped your chart have all been #1 for me too. See, we just share such amazing music taste clearly. ^_^ 15. Elton John Vs PNAU <--- Must admit, I much preferred 'Sad' and I admire PNAU in their ability to take the original, give it an indie disco(ish) makeover and still keep the essence of the original (i.e. still has that emotional elements to it).
