To my great surprise I'm really enjoying John-Paul. Far more interesting than James' character Ryan on Emmerdale.

I think it's benefitted the character that he's returned without Craig. Throughout his entire first stint, John-Paul was a constant misery-fest, whereas the new single John-Paul is a much warmer, wittier beau. He might just be able to spark some much-needed life back into wet fish Doug as well.

They've confirmed that Mitzeee's baby will be called Phoenix. It'll probably get a mention on-screen by Maxine in a few months.

No he doesn't? Looks the right age to me. And he has a certain likeness with the old actor too. I don't really care how old he looks anyway, as long as he can act.

Sienna is fast growing on me. Good first impressions of Anna Savage too!

I feel like he does, but then I'm not always great at telling ages!

I agree with you on Sienna though, I wasn't keen at all when she first arrived but it seems she needed time, she's becoming a very good character now!

so I've been upset all night but this has genuinely cheered me up, actual LOL!

Hollyoaks sent Will (James Atherton) as one of their best actors at the BSA!!

Mitzeee wasn't even recognised in the best female actress, which I'm annoyed about. Texas, Jacqui and Cindy got that.

Oh my GOD Hollyoaks has been utterly phenomenal this week. The way all of the stories from Kevin/Maxine to Nate/Cheryl have come full circle back to Brendan and his abuse at the hands of Seamus. Friday's cliffhanger was amazing. Might Brendan's be the most epic character exit ever? I pray they get it right.

Can't wait for Brendan to leave this week. Never got the love for the character. :coffee: :puke:
Tonight's E4 was SHIT THE BED amazing, even if the ending became obvious 10 minutes in. However all the Brendan stuff was well and truly TRUMPED by the Will/Texas saga news that Liberty has FINALLY been shipped off with an offscreen exit ("oh she's on tour") - her removal from the opening credits suggesting this is a permanent thing. Just in time for her not to destroy the Anna storyline with her atrocious non-acting! Trebles all around!

indeed it was amazing, I did have a strong thought that

cheryl was the one who would kill seamus

although I wasn't certain, I thought that

there was a chance it could have been ste.

also speaking of the opening credits, it's going to be weird seeing someone other than brendan as the last one on the credits...

Not reading any spoilers because I watch at C4 pace but Walker's death scene was breathtakingly good. Of course best not to question how he didn't hear the train coming and just revel in the melodrama. I now have no idea what Brendan's actual exit will entail but I'm guessing it'll focus on Seamus and Brendan.

It's going to plain weird not having Brendan in the show full stop. It's weeks like this when it's really apparent just how much of the show rests on the Bradys. I imagine

Clare

will be pushed as the lead character in his absence.

The train moment was OUTSTANDING, but I did laugh at the E4 episode where

it's made apparent the police have no idea Walker died. Seriously, how on earth can a train have a human being SPLASHED across the front carriage and the driver not notice?

The E4 eposide was fantastically brilliant

the way they portrayed Brendan still as a child when he was petrified of his father was fantastically done

Tonight's E4 episode was phenomenal (minus the part with the Savages). Emmett and Bronagh leaving is going to be a massive loss.
