Posted January 5, 201312 yr http://www.top100albumsapp.com/images/top-maintitle.png Well Hello all, It's time for an update on the top 100 of the decade so far. Unlike last year I won't be doing a usual countdown (revealing 3 at a time) but I'll post in batches of 5. Thanks to Vidcapper, MW, and google for sales, pics etc. This year the format will be: TITLE: ARTIST: RUN IN THIS COUNTDOWN:SALES: TOTAL SALES (IF RELEASED BEFORE 2010) NO SPOILERS PLEASE (ALTHOUGH NO 1 IS NO SHOCK OBVS) So Enjoy and please comment, I hope your faves make it! :D
January 5, 201312 yr Excited for this ^_^ Tulisa for #1 :cheer: You know it! (Unless Heartbreak on Hold claims yet another wig )
January 5, 201312 yr Lucie Silvas blatantly sold enough trickle copies of both her albums to be able to top the list. Alexandra might have to settle for third. Edited January 5, 201312 yr by JosephSimpson
January 5, 201312 yr Tulisa, Alexandra Burke and Lucie Silvas all need to make way for Queen Ke$ha *.*
January 5, 201312 yr I think we're all forgetting The Spirit Indestructable. :o That could possibly be the dark horse of this chart, top 10 at least but possibly #4 or #5.
January 6, 201312 yr Author 100. OVERCOME- Alexandra Burke (43-70-100) 327,900 (T/S 817,200) 99. THE VERY BEST OF- Neil Diamond (NEW) 333,800 98. APHRODITE- Kylie Minogue (45-71-98) 335,100 97. EVERY KINGDOM- Ben Howard (NEW) 337,700 96. SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME- Susan Boyle (75-96) 339,500 http://i50.tinypic.com/208u4c8.jpghttp://i47.tinypic.com/2rz2ult.jpghttp://i50.tinypic.com/o01oh.jpghttp://i47.tinypic.com/2zrjl2h.jpghttp://i50.tinypic.com/2zjdvm9.jpg Up first are certainly 3 albums that are on this list for the last time (failing something dramatic) these are Kylie’s 5th UK chart topper (and the album that earned her the accolade of the first act to have a No 1 album in every decade from the 80s on) "Aphrodite". Alexandra Burke plummets with her debut album which is unlikely to be replaced with her most recent, and Susan Boyle’s third album “Someone To Watch Over Me” which is now only one of two albums she has on this rundown. Better news for Ben Howard and Neil Diamond who are new entries to our big 100 though both by different means, Howard’s album has been out for 15 months whilst Diamond has sold over 300k in just 5 weeks. Selected track: B0HZf3hsXrU
January 6, 201312 yr Great to see Alexandra and Kylie still hanging on, however Neil Diamond and Ben Howard are not welcome  Susan can leave the chart whenever she likes and host her famous album parties :kink:
January 6, 201312 yr Ee, great to see Ben entering! Where did Every Kingdom peak? Hopefully it can continue climbing this list, it's up there with my favourite "alternative" albums of this decade. I'm surprised Alexandra has even managed that many sales this decade  How many of those are since it was re-released (6 December 2010)?
January 6, 201312 yr Glad to see Every Kingdom entering (it peaked at #6 iirc Theo). Overcome selling 10X more than HoH this decade :drama:. I guess the #1 could be a shock after all then :kink: Edited January 6, 201312 yr by HausofBal-loons

January 6, 201312 yr 673,938 Thanks, but I think you mistook the question :P I'm assuming since being re-released it has only sold 143,262 copies? Oh dear... Thanks also Bal!

I wasn't expecting to see Alexandra or Kylie, so it's a pleasant surprise to see them here. Hopefully Kylie's upcoming studio album will one day make an appearance here!
January 6, 201312 yr Author Thanks, but I think you mistook the question :P I'm assuming since being re-released it has only sold 143,262 copies? Oh dear... Thanks also Bal! Was it a rhetorical one? :D Those are the actual sales it sold in its original version anyway- just FYI.
January 6, 201312 yr Was it a rhetorical one? :D Those are the actual sales it sold in its original version anyway- just FYI. No! I'm confused :( Thanks anyway :P
January 6, 201312 yr Author No! I'm confused :( Thanks anyway :P I think I read the question wrong! You asked how much it had sold since re-release and I told you how much it had sold in it's original version! Nevermind you worked out the answer yourself! :D
