I adore Kree but I want to know why she boosted it this high when it didn't trouble the top 100 after Carrie herself performed it a few weeks ago :lol:

This happens with Jessie J in the UK. She performed Who You Are and Mamma Knows Best on UK TV, but both those songs got bigger boosts when reality show contestants performed them. :lol:

In Jessie J's case, it's not the difference in arrangement, it's just the fact that her voice is unbearable. :lol:

I'm really confused about how well the new Mariah single is doing. She had two straight songs bomb on iTunes and then for no particular reason this is taking off both here and in the UK? Pretty baffling.

 

(also she is so going to regret that hashtag in ten years)

Mariah's song is being played on a lot of pop stations in the US once an hour. So millions of people already know this song exists, whilst her other two songs hardly any of the general public know about.

It aired Thursday night instead of the advertised Wednesday, but it still hasn't had that much of an effect.
