I assume US sales of OWOA(TK) will go to Comic Relief too. If so that's amazing for the charity :D If only the song was good, imo it's terrible - even worse than JLS' Proud and I hated that. :puke:

What's caused the sudden boost to the top 20 for Olly? (#19 now). Gwon Olly :D Would love to see 'Troublemaker' make the top 10 soon.

TBH, when I checked the Sat or Friday before the Grammys, Troublemaker was like #28 or something...but then came the Grammies and the song got pushed down to the 30s. Now that the Grammy backlogue is clearing up, and the rising airplay, it's in the top 20. It's amazing news though, I hope on the success of this song they give "Heart skips a beat" 1 more chance.

No no no...that dreadful 'Heart Skips...' remix has been flogged repeatedly already. Best that the song isn't tainted any further. But still I'm so proud 'Troublemaker' has done well (or at least better) for Olly cause it really deserved to. He's definitely gaining his own set of fans and being presented as his own artist now rather than just being tacked on as a 6th member of 1D as Columbia were trying to do with him previously!
I love how US media are referring to him as "British soul singer" :D

I think it's a semi-accurate description. I've always tagged him as 'blue eyed soul' on Last.fm :)

Inspired move for Comic Relief to get a world famous act to do the single and release it worldwide, will earn a LOT more money than usual (certainly more than Gold Forever did )

you're right.. 'Heart skips a beat' deserved to be huge.... too bad it only reached number 96...

but i'm sure after the success of 'Troublemaker' a 'Heart skips a beat' re-release would push it inside the top 40 at least...

Well that's not really a given. I'd be keen to see if they go with Army as the 2nd US single or record something else for the American market.

I agree, they'd be better off moving on than continuing trying to push the same song!

01. One Direction - One Way Or Another 100%

02. Baauer - Harlem Shake 65.6%

17. Olly Murs Feat Flo Rida - Troublemaker

63. One Direction - Kiss You

Wall-E, which Saturdays video is in your signature?

Also Little Mix back up to 153 now.

I agree. Heart Skips a Beat is an amazing song, and has been massive in many other countries. It obviously could be as big in the US too.

I think the same about Macklemore & Ryan Lewis too. Now they've gotten huge, I want them to go back and re-release their previous singles, especially Same Love and Can't Hold Us, because they're good songs and have potential imo. Yeah, those two singles "flopped" the first time, but that was because of lack of promotion/exposure rather than because they can't be hits.

 88. Icona Pop - I Love It (feat. Charli XCX)

 135. Krewella - Alive

Keep climbing!! :cheer:

1370. The Saturdays - What About Us

Back in the top 1500!

:cheer:

I want Icona Pop to be a huge smash! (both US and worldwide!)
