Haven't got round to watching this week's show yet, but apparently there was a graphics fault, whichmeant the contestants have to sing again for a 're-vote' and the results of this will be next Wednesday... Mess.

You can see the voting recap here, I assume the end of the voting numbers should be in order of the performances like we have here in the UK (the first performer's numbers ends in 01, the second performer's ends in 02 and so on), but the first performer's number ended with 06 and the next ended with 09! You can see the voting recap below with the incorrect numbers, don't watch if you don't want to see spoilers though!

The second show was amazing when everyone did their 'Save Me' songs just shows that the majority of the time the acts themselves are best at picking their own songs.

The errors were for Rachel and Khaya. When the phone number is shown with two lines, the top one (1 855 THE XF...) was right but the bottom one showing the actual number rather than including "THE XF" nonsense had 01 on the end...Alex & Sierra's number, Simon's act! :D

The ratings are incredibly laughable, I wouldn't be surprised if the show was axed at the end of this. It started to pick itself up in October gaining 7m+...

 

October 29th: 4.90m Viewers.

October 31st: 3.25m Viewers.

November 6th: 4.54m Viewers.

November 7th: 3.67m Viewers.

November 13th 5.78m Viewers

Novemeber 14th 5.18m Viewers.

 

The overall production of the live shows this year is so much better than the past two seasons. It's rumored it'll be back for a fourth season, but without Simon as a judge / mentor. My favorites so far are Carlito Olivero and Ellona Santiago. Josh Levi and Alex & Sierra are very promising though.

Josh Levi was the best one this week. Ellona can certainly do so much more.

Ellona frustrates me so much, she could easily do a Melanie Amaro and storm it i imagine, but I have no idea why she keeps singing songs like Burn and 'Til The World Ends... I know it makes a change from Mariah, Whitney and Céline but I don't know why she can't sing one big ballad at least... Although with Wings as her audition I guess she set that up as her identity. I don't really have a favourite atm, I do like Alex & Sierra though so probably them I'd say. Ellona could get there. I really don't like Rion though? :/ she's a lovely girl and an inspiration with what she's been through (to have such a sunny outlook on it) but her voice really isn't anything special whatsoever I'm afraid.

I've barely seen any of the live shows but I'm backing Alex and Sierra for the win, they're rather unique with their style and would definitely be marketable. Lillie has an amazing voice but I can't quite see her selling records. Don't remember most of the others.

My top three so far are Ellona Santiago, Josh Levi and Carlito Olivero. Alex & Sierra could actually win though. The thing with Carlito is that he's very passionate about music the way he talks about it and his experiences, yet he's totally not pouring everything out when he performs. It's like there something that stopping all the juices from flowing out. He better be delivering the goods this week, or I'm afraid its his time to go home.

 

Personally I would love Ellona to sing Say Something during her stay in this competition. Something simple yet will reveal her emotions and sincerity could be the game changer for her to ensure winning the title.

Demi is leaving the show :( Well I'm sure they'll all be leaving anywway when it gets cancelled, but Simon said it's 'probably' back without him as judge... Tbh I'm unsure whether Kelly or Paulina will stay so it might be a whole new panel...

 

Simon just tweeted the rules are changing 'on all his shows' too, maybe that'll spice things up a bit perhaps - god knows that's what it needs.

Alex & Sierra won. YAY for the right outcome, they could actually do well outside of the show as I've been amazed at how well their performances have done on iTunes

So Cowell wants Miley for the next season! Demi officially left (and GOOD the floppy cow couldn't even take any of her acts to the Top 3 in two seasons).

Simon said in the interview below that he found out after the final that Alex & Sierra won the vote every week! I'm so happy they won, can't wait to listen to their music! :wub:

 

So this was to be the last season - Fox have cancelled it!

Ouch.

 

This really did perform rather horrifically. I guess that explains why Simon is returning to the UK show, it wouldn't surprise me if Simon was aware of this months in advance and it's why Demi announced she was leaving.
