10 - Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull "Dance Again"

Scoring +062 points from Buzzjackers, Jennifer Lopez starts off the top 10 with "Dance Again", the lead single to her Greatest Hits album. Unfortunately it flopped massively, only spending 3 weeks in the chart. It looks as if "On The Floor" and "I'm Into You" may be her last ever top 10 hits, but she could easily get another comeback in the future so we cannot be sure.

09 - The Killers "Runaways"

With +065 points, The Killers are 9th. This was the first single off their recent #1 album "Battle Born", it is also the only single that I have enjoyed from the era. They have not had a top 10 single since 2008, when "Human" went to #3.

08 - Scissor Sisters "Only The Horses"

Scissor Sisters finish in 8th with +072 points. This was the first single taken from "Magic Hour", but even with Calvin Harris on production and a performance on The Voice it couldn't be their first top 10 hit since 2006's "I Don't Feel Like Dancin". It's a real shame that they've been so close recently with this and "Fire With Fire".

07 - Otto Knows "Million Voices"

Swedish producer Otto Knows had his chart debut with this song, one of my favourites of 2012 so I'm very pleased at this being so high in the countdown! You gave it +080 points.

06 - Nelly Furtado "Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)"

And at #6 with +084 points is popstar turned flopstar - Nelly Furtado with her amazing song "Big Hoops", one of her best songs ever and what a way to make a comeback but unfortunately it flopped in the charts, spending just 4 weeks in the top 40. The album didn't even spend 1 week top 40.

If "Primadonna" isn't #5 there is no justice, I don't dislike it but it's seriously out of its depth in that company. I'm bored of "212" as well, "Greyhound" ftw.

I agree, a pretty decent selection left there! My ideal way it would go is...

I do actually like all of them to some degree though.

Expecting 212 or Little Talks to win this, but I really hope its Greyhound :wub: Decent results so far, although Runaways & Dance Again are both so by-the-numbers for both acts involved and shouldn't be this high.

Excellent top 5 for the most part, Greyhound is a little less enjoyable for me than the other 4 but not bad by any means so I shan't begrudge it taking a Scissor Sisters/The Killers placing up there.

 

I love all 4 of the others to varying degrees, but come on Little Talks (or 212).

Little Talks would be my favourite winner. But also happy with 212 or Latch.

One of the best songs of the year, great to see Buzzjack agreeing with me here and putting it in the top 5. A very uplifting instrumental, imo it's their best song to date, but all their songs other than Save The World are life-defining!
