February 22, 201312 yr  Yeah hopefully I'll be going but. The prices are ridiculous though. €130 for seats near the stage.
February 22, 201312 yr Author Yip. Same here. I bought the cheapest seats available. I refuse to encourage greed. -_-
February 22, 201312 yr Yip. Same here. I bought the cheapest seats available. I refuse to encourage greed. -_- I don't have that much of an issue when it's Springsteen as you just know he is going to play for 3-4 hours. Anything over €100 for a gig is ridiculous though - especially in a recession. It's no wonder gigs are not selling out anymore. The promoters would surely make more money bringing the prices down by 20 or 30 therfore increasing demand hugely? Bruce could charge what he wants here though. He has sold over 150,000 tickets for his five gigs in this summer alone (all outside Dublin which makes it even more impressive)- cheapest ticket is €96.
February 22, 201312 yr Is Bruce playing Dingle? :w00t: I love Dingle. No, but I am half expecting him to announce it at this stage. Belfast, Limerick, Cork and coming back to finish the whole tour off in what is being called the Wrecking Ball Weekender in Killkenny. No doubt he will pass the 4 hour mark like the end of last years European leg
February 22, 201312 yr Author Have I been to Killkenny? Hmmmm... Maybe I'm thinking of Killarney?
February 22, 201312 yr Kilkenny is fantastic. Best part of it is there is going to be lots of support acts. Bruce gigs never have support but this is seen as a small festival . Is Imelda May famous in the UK yet?

March 12, 201312 yr Robbie Williams - Be A Boy Single Review Artist: Robbie Williams Single: Be A Boy OUT NOW Rating: 4/5 Robbie Williams is back this week with his new single Be a Boy, which is the third single to be lifted from his latest album Take The Crown. I will happily admit that I have not been a big fan of the singles that Williams that has released so far from his new album but Be A Boy is a bit of an electric/pop gem. It is not very often that the third single lifted from an album is stronger than the first but that is absolutely the case with this track - it really is as catchy as hell. There is a very definite beat to Be A Boy but it is not one of those beats that dominates the track instead it enhances it and gives the song a bit more oomph. There is a nice balance between the electronic and pop elements and the mix of both really does give this track an infectious energy. The saxophone is also a nice and rather unexpected touch. Williams keeps the vocal totally straightforward - he shows of that rich and deep quality to his voice in the verses before he lets rip in the chorus. Be A Boy is a song that you would expect from Robbie Williams and it will be one of the tracks from the new album that will play so well live. Williams has been guilty of releasing some not so great tracks in recent years but Be A Boy sees him back on his game - this is a song that seriously will get stuck in your head.
