This is now when it gets TOO hard. I have no idea how to order the next few so it could literally be any order :') But alas, after a quick listen of them this has drawn the short straw. Maybe because it's the most recent and so i'm dubious about how long it will last in my affections? But anyway, Klumincan are back (not for the final time) with this rousing, out-there, bonkers number. When i first heard it, i instantly compared it to (former D'yermak'er artist) Kitty's '♥ 285 ♥' with those insanely fast bars being spit and that dance-infused techno beat. It's a style of music i'm loving right now, so Klumzee knew exactly how to get me excited when he decided to send this and sure enough it racked up all of my points and became a big Haus hit officially too *_*. And next up a song that has stuck with us for most of the year and another 18 pointer, this time from (lucky) Bellendmia who make their first appearance here (but will it be their only one? ;o). There are many reasons why I love 'Moment Like You' - firstly it sounds almost identical to Cher Lloyd's '

' which was one of my favourite songs of last year, secondly it has one of the most powerful and catchy choruses of all songs sent this year, and thirdly it is pure and simple pop at its best. No tricks or gimmicks, just a beautiful message sung in glorious style.

Lol the first song here is so clearly a top 5 contender but I couldn't even face putting it in my top 10 because it's become so devoid and distanced from this contest. It's transcended the realms of this forum and so takes a tumble in this list of my favourite BJSC songs (if that makes sense? It does to me~). But yes, Aquafina's huge 'Easy Love' is one of my favourite songs of the year and never fails to cheer me up. Channelling the incredible Jackson 5 but with a wholly modern twist, it's a song to fit any age. I'll save a full commentary for the song for my overall list of favourite songs for this year but for now, well done Aquafina, you disgusting cheating whore x And (very, very) narrowly missing the top 10 is this stunner from Altyr Muunilinst. It's the LAST song before the top 10 if you will :magic: 'Get This Right' gets everything right - haunting vocals and an uplifting melodies, it's a song that makes me equally happy and sad at the same time Lol. When John gets it right, he is so right and this is my favourite entry from him by a long, long shot this year. More of this next year please and you have all of my lovin'.

Nice eclectic selection of songs so far, Bal, and I've been enjoying reading your thoughts on them too ^_^. Biggest faves so far include 'Talking In Your Sleep', 'People', 'St. Patrick' and 'When I Found You' but I've a feeling the best for me are yet to come~

10. Kluminican Republic // Truls - Circles

Starting off the top 10 is Kluminican Republic with the absolutely FINE 'Circles'. 'Out of Yourself' was one of my favourite songs back in 2013 and while this doesn't quite live up to that for me, it's very close behind and another fabulous song from Truls. Something about his falsetto and high tones excites me whenever I hear one of his songs and added onto that here is a fun, carefree and quirky pop sentiment which meant it went on to get the full 18 points from us. A fantastic entry that rightfully gained a medal finish and cemented Kluminican as one of my ultimate fave countries - their entries are always full of individuality and personality and never seem forced or try-hard - just effortlessly out-of-the-box pop that never takes itself too seriously. Hoping for more big things from them in 2016 but for now, Truls sing and ring out a full-circle year for the Republic; keep giving me that cheesy love~ B-)

09. Persephonia // A-WA - Habib Galbi

Persephonia do well :cheer: They come top 10 :cheer: The song actually came top #1 in the real BJSC, very well :cheer: The song was shared to me before the contest began (who doesn't Bra share his songs with?) and I was instantly transported to the deserts of some Yemem remote retreat for a hoedown. I heard this song once and found myself drawn to it over-and-over again until it became ingrained in my brain and annoyingly could not leave. But while it was stuck there, I loved it - fantastic vibes both visually and musically and such a catchy, sing-a-long even if you have no idea what they're saying sort of song. A perfect example of why Bré is a trend setter in this contest - it went on to WIN against seemingly all the odds when I first heard it as it didn't seem remotely universal. Although it is Persephonia and they do well whatever they send so ~ well done on doing well :cheer:
