I'm really looking forward to the next season, if only to see where they go next. Also to see just how many seasons worth of story they can squeeze in this time! There's nothing better than a show that doesn't have filler episodes.

OMG at the last Ranya/Deacon scene!!!! They'd clearly run out of money by the time it came to film that!

Well like I say I'll probably give the first episode a go but if it's more of the same I'll give up. I think I watch a lot more network TV than you do anyway so I NEED to start being more selective, especially with so many brilliant sounding new shows on the way.

I watch a lot of cable stuff but you'd be surprised at how little I don't watch from broadcast nets. I started being more selective this year and last by ditching Whitney after 6 episodes of no laughter.

Haha, I know you watch like 75% of everything that airs, but yeah I thought it was more cable oriented. I did drop a lot of shows early on in the 12-13 season, 666 Park Avenue for example, as soon as it became obvious it was dead. No point getting burned with a high concept show.

It's changed a lot over recent years. There was a time where I didn't watch any cable shows at all!! :o

 

I've got rather good at deciding what I will and won't like based on the clips pre-season and anything I'm not sure of I wait to see what the people who's view I trust make of it. Plus if it's clearly DOA I'll steer clear.

Cannot wait for Season 2, the first was fantastic imo.

So yeah I went against my better judgement and watched the first episode and lo and behold I find it has embraced the fact it is a ridiculous soap and rolled with it, yay.

You should be given a medal for perseverance. I couldn't make myself watch any more of that shit after 5 minutes.

Hate bumping a show that people probably don't watch anymore but WHAT.JUST.HAPPENED.

I was excited when Nashville was picked up by CMT - but if they were going to kill of Rayna they should have just kept the show cancelled. The whole show revolves around her, and a part from Juliette I really don't see any other character that can really keep this show going. I don't see the show really continuing after this season.

I stopped watching like halfway through last season but there's deffo no chance I'm watching now :drama: Wtf.

The show was probably never going to be renewed anyway, but if it were to stand a chance removing a BIG salary like Connie from the mix is surely going to help things along.

More so than ever this show felt like the 'Rayna James' show and now the show will be handed off to Deacon/Maddie I guess. Maddie has really been shoved down our throats this season. Her character however really has no depth. She's very one note.

Outside of Juliette and Will - I really hate everyone else. Especially Scarlett.

People were right about CMT really brushing Will's character under the rug as well. He's just kind of. There.

They should have just done a TV Movie to wrap up the cliffhanger of Season 4.
