Surprised no one deemed Breakin' Dishes an 11!

I always find it a bit of a random that Lene Marlin wrote Good Girl Gone Bad but then thinking about it, it's not hugely dissimilar to Unforgivable Sinner musically.

Breakin Dishes FAR too low (and beaten by Drunk On Love?!! - I really like DoL but no way). Completely amazing, only didn't get my 11 for GGGB because either Umbrella or Disturbia had that.

Run This Town is so underrated normally, great to see it make almost top 20 here.

Te Amo is wonderful, a real shame it didn't get top 10 on the official chart.
'Good Girl Gone Bad'! I didn't see this doing this well in this rate! Very, VERY pleased though. Was an instant highlight of the album for me. 'Run This Town' is alright, but every artist involved has done better, but it's not exactly bad either. 'Drunk On Love' seems a bit of a random top 30 entry though, I like it, but didn't ever think it'd finish this high! 'Pon De Replay' is awesome, so minimal but SO effective. 'Breakin' Dishes', like GGGB has always been a highlight from the album and I really think it should have been a single over the bleh 'Rehab'.

NEVER.

I used to think it was good but overrated, but now I think it's just average. :(

Opening up the top twenty is the final non-single to appear from Rihanna's latest album, Unapologetic. "Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary" is essentially two Rihanna songs in one (all the better, right?), but as good as it is, I can't help but be disappointed that we didn't get both songs in full rather than half of the crap on the album. Following it is the first of five songs to appear from Rated R, her edgy, critically-acclaimed 2009 comeback LP. "Fire Bomb" is lyrically similar to "Love the Way You Lie" in that it describes a relationship involving domestic violence. It was a huge fan favourite upon the album's release (and would have finished top 10 here if it weren't for the two lowest scores that it was given - although it did gain the most 11s of all non-singles!)

Up next is the song that really turned Rihanna into a superstar, the Soft Cell-sampling "SOS", which became her first Billboard #1 and second (of seven!) to peak at #2 in the UK. "All of the Lights", Kanye West's all-star collaboration from his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album is tied at #16 with "Wait Your Turn", the promo single lifted from Rihanna's 2009 comeback album. The latter bizarrely managed to receive no score below 6, despite being pretty basic for Rihanna in my opinion.

Surprised but glad Fire Bomb is so low compared to what I expected! It's very good, but overrated.

SOS and Love Without Tragedy though

All Of The Lights is my favourite song that involves Rihanna ever.

Bitch get outta here! (And you Casey__!)

My favourite ever Rihanna song. I doubt she'll ever overtake it for me, although she's certainly come close with the likes of 'Stay' and 'Farewell'! Some lovely results inside the top 20 so far. 'SOS' is amazing (one of my favourite uses of a sample), 'All Of the Lights' is brilliant as is 'Wait Your Turn'. WYT really is the best "buzz single" ever!

First in the top fifteen is one of only two songs left that failed to make the UK top fourty - "Man Down", a US-only single released from Rihanna's fifth album, Loud. The theme of the song is fairly controversial (which I imagine is one of the reasons that it didn't receive a push here), but it became a fan-favourite nevertheless, beating out all but two of the singles from Loud. "Rude Boy", the second single released from Rated R is perhaps where we marked the turn of the Rihanna that we know and love today. Released after the first single, "Russian Roulette" failed to meet everyone's expectations of reaching #1, "Rude Boy" managed to equal its UK peak and demolish it in the US where it became her 6th Billboard Hot 100 #1, and first of four in 2010. Again, the theme is rather unsavoury, but Rihanna manages to get away with it, and even got Alan Carr to perform the 'bogle' on his Chatty Man show. Finishing in unlucky thirteenth place is "Disturbia", which managed to receive a massive eight 11s and still misses the top ten (although it would have been placed at #5 had it not been for the two scores of minus one!) It was the third song released from the Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded re-release album, and featured Rihanna in many disturbing states - again, making her move closer to the artist that we now know as the world's biggest popstar. It was yet another Billboard #1 single, but peaked at #3 here in the UK.
Wow 'Man Down' so much higher than I imagined it would be. I thought top 30 at highest would be what that got. 'Rude Boy' is truly overrated though. I like it, but not nearly as much as others seem to! 'Disturbia' should have been top 5!! What kinda f***ery is that!?

OOOH. Three absolute gems there.

Man Down is probably my second favourite ever Rihanna song, behind Rehab, and it's by far my favourite off Loud. It's just so brave and as controversial as the video was, it is a piece of art.

Oh and a late YAY at AOTL

What is WRONG with everyone who didn't vote Disturbia highly. :(

And I've never got the obsession with Rube Boy at all. Terrible is a good word to describe it.
