The only thing I don't understand is why it has taken so long for him to get this success, Every Kingdom was out in Autumn 2011. His best single "The Wolves" should have been a much bigger hit.

 

There's probably still hope for 'The Wolves' to get a better peak. 'Only Love' and probably 'Keep Your Head Up' will reach new peaks this week, which will mean all 4 of the charted singles from 'Every Kingdom' have peaked a while after release ('The Wolves' peaked at #97 on its original release and later at #70 on a re-release; 'The Fear' originally charted at #89 then got to #58 when it was 59p and on an advert IIRC). Maybe 'The Wolves' will do that again :P I agree it's his best single but 'Only Love' is probably the second best.

 

His album's chart run is slightly reminiscent of Mumford & Sons' debut as well, improving on its peak in its second year and again in its third year. The major difference of course being Mumford & Sons were top 10 for ages whereas this will be only the 4th week top 10 for 'Every Kingdom' though.

I'd be very happy if Tyler missed top 40. The song is weak as. He was good on The Voice but I haven't liked any of his solo material :( Not even the Kano raps make up for it - he's one of my least favourite UK rappers.

Oh dear at Gabrielle's performance, no matter how amusing it is! Expecting a drop of around 15+ places come Sunday for Please Don't Say You Love Me. I wonder if Justin Timberlake can climb to number 1 next week? He should still get a minor boost with him performing Suit & Tie on Jonathan Ross! Mirrors would be an excellent number one!

Bastille is at #6 in Ireland (Pompeii has just been released today there) and the EP is at #1 as well. :w00t:. (Just Give Me A Reason is also at #5 and Icona Pop's I Love it at #9 :wub:).
