Really rooting to Macklemore to reclaim the top spot.

Ouch at Ke$ha. I really started to think that C'mon had SMASH written all over it, but i guess i was wrong  It still needs Radio 1 to playlist it before completely writing it off though.

62. Tyler James - Worry About You

71. Tyler James - Worry About You (feat. Kano)

348. Tyler James - Worry About You

1227. Tyler James - Worry About You (feat. Kano) [DJ Wonder Remix] - PLEASE get that top 40 hit

84. Hips Don't Lie (feat. Wyclef Jean) - Shakira

I love Tyler, he's so underrated! Really hope this does enough to go top 40 - which I didn't expect given it's position three weeks ago! He deserves so much more success than this, both his singles should have been top 10 imo!

After what happened with 'Blow' my hopes were never high, but I'm blindingly hoping and watching it closely anyway.

Radio 1 clearly aren't gonna go near it unless it miraculously becomes a top 5 smash.

I saw Hips Don't Lie on a music channel this morning, it was my JAM years ago. So glad it's back in the top 100.
Why should a note-for-note cover version of a cover version have been top 10?

Yeah, that Marcus Collins has a lot to answer for. :D

It's still a lot more success than he would have got a few years ago

I agree with you though, he's extremely underrated. "A Place I Go" is one of my favourite albums of the past few months, and it's a shame not too many people took notice of it :(

If Radio 1 don't add it this coming week, then i agree they won't touch it. Fingers crossed though!!

And Whenever, Wherever was pretty much the song of my youth (along with MJ's You Rock My World). I need her BACK (and not making babies).

Still hope this cover pulls a "Live While We're Young" at the end and miss #1.

Didn't LWWY only miss number one because one song suddenly shot up and knocked it off iTunes number one midweek (was it Gangnam Style?) and therefore allowing LWWY to lose #1 effect and tumble and 'Diamonds' ended up getting to #1 officially because it was the only song out of the three to actually stay stable through the whole week? Or have I got this completely wrong?

I'm pretty sure Rihanna just knocked 1D off #1 herself as 1D's lead was very short-lived. Expecting pretty much the same for this song, Macklemore will probably be reasonably close by the time of the BRITs (which will push them further in the lead again but they'll still be caught by the end of the week, about 95% certain).

Not around the world. So many of those countries they've got nothing more than a dedicated fanbase just yet. (I daresay they don't have much more in the UK)

I'm not sure. At the moment it is just dedicated fanbase, but to be #1 in 60 countries on iTunes... madness! I'm not even sure Gaga did that with Born This Way. They're so much bigger now than they were when they released Live While We're Young.

I don't think 60 countries even HAD iTunes when 'Born This Way' was released. 'Born This Way' was simultaneously #1 in every single country that had an iTunes chart.

wow that is some work by One Direction like them or not its impressive to hit number 1 on 60 itunes charts, something like this is also great for racking up their worldwide sales regardless if they hold the number 1 positions or not. Sometimes i find it amazing how big these guys have become they are starting to give the spice girls a run for their money.
I'm very careful. It's not about the opinion, it's about the way you express something..Anyway, i see that you admin and i had issues with you in the past when someone else said the same things about Birdy. You sent me warn level in my box and you overreacted with your messages to me. I know that every one has an opinion but when you say the word "rubbish", you insult (automatically) the people who likes this kind of music. Good night.

I think perhaps on an internet forum (and certainly on Buzzjack) you may need to develop a slightly thicker skin! :D

Anyway if you have any further comments to make on this topic then please PM either a chart mod or admin. Thanks

On a related note, any idea why People Help the People by Birdy has re-entered the iTunes chart?

It's on a TV advert, but i dont know which one.

Thought that might be the case. It's a pity they didn't use the original Cherry Ghost version, which is truly wonderful.
