Grats to Martin and thx to Chris. :D

Loved all the Madsen hate. At least it made it obvious that I wouldn't get any more high points after the first 5 or 6 voters.

Surprised at the "least interesting" comment, though. It certainly was more interesting than at least one of the at least 15 indie songs that all sounded alike? :P

Well, I'm happy with almost coming top 10. :)

Finished IN THE MIDDLE wot. That counts as a hit in my books so ALL IS GOOD <3

Coming for that win next time!! Poor 152 - second AGAIN while Mikey has to enjoy his second win

Well done Martin and Chris, very pleased with a 3rd place finish. Matches my current personal best with Freja Loeb this time last year. Glad that a few people made a great find out of it too, I first heard it about a month and a half ago and instantly had to download it, been obsessed ever since. Thanks for the great show and presentation too Chris!

and the 'has to be over a year old' rule YES. quite fitting with the whole senility theme we'll have going on.

HARVE  my nufave

Back down to earth after last time's surprise success, but at least I went with something that genuinely seemed to freak people out! That's all I want from life.

Great job Chris, clean and sharp presentation, and congrats Mikey! Deserving winner.

The top two are really EH, probably the worst I can remember in all honesty. But the next five are all really good and I got another top 10, so I'm pleased with that.

19-19-1-28-x-20-x-6-x-4-16-7 is quite pretty. We can ignore the 28th because everyone ADORES Autre Ne Veut nowadays and the two 19ths were 8-13 minute long instrumental/experimental EPICS that did well not to finish at the very bottom.

#21?! Jesus! I'm very disappointed. What a waste of time and effort for a crappy #21. Below my song is the awful nano.RIPE 'Real World'. I thought that BuzzJack Alternative has some good taste in music.

John Maus - 'Head For The Country' is clearly the best song from this edition. And almost nobody voted for it. I'm totally baffled.

PS: thanks Chris for hosting.

I would've given you MORE if you sent something like 'Quantum Leap' or 'Keep Pushing On' but less if I realised you'd be a mardy git. So it kinda balances out really. :D

And yes, thankyou for hosting Chris.

WHO KNOWS if he's reached the 2010's yet. :(

I agree John Maus is the best track in the list - at least you came 21st. My entry of Andy Stott only came 23rd - wtf?

Well done Chris on hosting.

This isn't an alternative competition, sadly.

I'm happy with the performance of my entry - plenty of high points for an amazing song.

Well done Chris, for hosting.

Thank you for Holy Other, Horatio <3 By far the best thing out of the UPs I've participated in thus far.

Glad you liked it. Was worried it'd be too wellknown, and it probably was, but searches of the forum didn't reveal a whole lot of mentions and it has very few plays on youtube.

Anyway, yet again my maximum points go to Eyes! But the favour wasn't repaid this time :(

:( Thank you though, (and Bodies Of Water was one of the best there). It seemed I ended up giving points to the usual people though, C.W, gooddelta, dandy*.

OK, I definitely didn't expect to come 4th! It seems the ones I have no expectations for in this contest do the best. Thanks to all who voted for Colour The Atlas though, it doing so well feels great. I think that makes my run 29-20-02-21-04, so a flop is due next time but no, really chuffed with that.

AS for the winner, if only I could have sent it to BJSC first. Well done Mart!n though, excellent song, Ghost was another of your entries that NEARLY got points from me Chris and Mainline's great anyway so I'm not bothered with them beating me, I'm only proud to have 'Snow' in such esteemed company.

Happy with 11th, considering everyone seemed to know Pilgrim. :D

I have to agree with this (apart from replacing top 10 for bottom 10 :(), the winner was one of the first songs I discounted, think that's only happened once before with some shit Pavel won with early on.

I shouldn't really have put Jagwar Ma 1st given it was one of the three songs I knew beforehand but it really is SO FUCKING GOOD! I adore all of my top 5-6, but that's in a different league entirely.

Jagwar Ma deserved to win to be honest, I can see it being the only song here that we'll still be talking about in a few months time.

Well, I'm so happy my top 3 all made the final top 10 and I managed to sneak in too (thanks Leww ^_^ ) so it's all good. Tensnake, Cub Scouts and Churchill are defo personal keepers.

Great contest Chris, the bridesmaid once again in UP. However, I suspect you could be grinning like a cheshire cat when BJSC concludes tonight. :D <--- like this

Feeling bad for Jagwar Ma as I'm listening to it now and am quite enjoying it despite not giving it a single point. Bet being at the very end damaged it's chances.

Just about to re-listen to the winner also as still can't remember a thing about it!!! Pretty convinced it was one of the first I got rid of though...

Finally - thank you to Chris for hosting, I didn't mind the lack of graphics at all and actually hadn't really even noticed until you pointed it out to us. Apologies for not making it to the end but I was far too tired and had to be at work far too early!
