I know Rob is not stupid, but sometimes I think in cases like this he lives in a bubble and cannot understand the impact on normal people.

For a person who is so much dependent on what people think of him and has googled himself in the past regularly he is causing negativity himself. As if this is in his self destructive mind.

The best I read was 'he is crazy anyway' . I could live with that. The comments like 'washed up popstar is back in the news for the wrong reasons" are comments I dislike. I stopped reading the articles then. Especially the 'broadsheets' hate him for these comments (in Germany). It was never popular to like Robbie Williams as he is too mainstream. But some of the prominent people who officially did distant themselves. The only good bit I see here is the fact that something linked to his name can still trend on twitter :-(

I get your point Elisabeth, not stuff I read if I'm honest about it , no idea he does these type of interviews,. I always think boredom gets him into trouble ..

I don't read it either. Unfortunately Upfront is full of it now because people know he's interested.

I have not watched the interviews aside of some minutes. No time, despite home office :-) I also did not watch the insta lives. Listened to a bit of his talk with Andy Goldstein. Some bit of the songs.

But I was not surprised that he would bring himself into trouble.

The German (I think it was main Germany) shitstorm last week however was troubling if you like Rob. Especially as he clarified - I read - in the third part of the interviews that he is in the middle

The way the virus is surging through the US - I wonder if they're still happy staying there.

I doubt they will be moving anywhere at the moment Laura, everyone is bunkering down & staying home where it's safe, I doubt we will see Robbie this side of the pond for some time to come ...

It seem Robbie is now getting concerned about comments being made about him on Instagram, why does he give those ridiculous interviews in the first place,. Play with fire & fingers get burnt to some degree -_-

What is surprising for me is the 'news' factor of Robbie. Based on the podcasts and live instas there is no day without news in the tabloids from the conspiracy, to the children, to Haiti yesterday. I hope this will also reflect on the music buyer :-)

I think they just pick up the 'so called news' like everyone else Elisabeth & all of a sudden it becomes a headline ( good or bad ) ....

 

You are right, it's not going to do anything for music sales ...

Robbie is playing lots of demos of new material on YT , I am not listening to them as it just spoils anything new for me :(

I assumed that was the Ewan he meant - they've been friends for years haven't they.
