I don't really understand how to start a new country? The 'new country thread' is closed, so can I apply here, with the Republic of Adonia? Plot 26 please.

Yeah the country registeration thread is still closed at the moment but you can still join the contest so that's fine! When the next contest begins in a week or two just follow the instructions given by the host and when the country registration thread finally re-opens then just officially register there too.

 

By the way, surely we might as well re-open the country registration thread for the time being until the new thread is ready as quite a few people have been confused by it now?

I will be updating this today! Since the Pilermo controv. I have a new ~policy~ of only adding in new countries after they've confirmed in a contest so the Republic of Adonia isn't going to be added just yet, I will still reserve their space though. Harmonica and Jukianië shall be added as well as Quintessa being moved (and completing East Twikande <3)

Can I play yet as it says I have to wait 6 months in the rules. How come?

The wait time has been reduced to 3 months now (and in the meantime you can nominally enter spinoffs but spinoffs seem to have ground to a halt again unforch). The rule is in place to prevent people from making alias countries. Not that anyone suspects you're an alias of course. :P
