Yay for The 1975! :D I'm so happy that the song is getting the attention that it truly deserves.

79. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us [Could this actually get to number one now?)

Great to see Demi holding up so well on pre-orders and Nicole climbing! 'What About Us' is doing very well on pre-orders (and the fake version) and great to see Chasing Lights get a boost from Chasing The Saturdays!

:ne: 81. Avicii - X You

I'll have to have a listen to this!

EDIT: It's really good, it is a worldwide music collaboration project where musicians contributed with melodies, basslines, beats, rhythms, breaks and effects! :D

Let's just say I'm glad the other 4,198 artists on 'X You' aren't credited.

I'm struggling to imagine how 4,199 people can have made contributions to a single song.

EDIT: It seems 4 of the artists are counted as 'featured producers', a further 8 are 'producers' and the rest are 'collaborators', according to this. So I guess 5 artists are credited (those other 4 are on the artwork as well).

Interested to see what Bastille pick for the next single. The obvious future choices to me would be Things We Lost In the Fire, Laura Palmer and Oblivion (the latter will definitely be released at some point - sounds like a potentially big hit to me)

On the UK iTunes Dance chart but...

488. Krewella - Alive :cheer:

616. Cody Simpson - Wish U Were Here (feat. Becky G)

788. Cody Simpson - Wish 'U Were Here (feat. Becky G)

IT'S COMING, GUYS

:(

THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD COMING TO AN END.

I'm slightly surprised by Ready or Not's success. But at least there will be one new entry this week.

Ooh yes! What a nice surprise that this is doing well, I only realized this morning that Avicii had randomly released a new track.

This is holding up nicely.

 10. White Noise (feat. AlunaGeorge) - Disclosure

 11. Harlem Shake - Baauer

Disclosure slaying that longevity. Eek at Baauer dropping out of the top 10 already, another one that peaked a bit early like 'Thrift Shop' (although Baauer still has 0 support beyond the Internet I guess).

DEAL. WITH. IT.

I am convinced that the reason why he is so high is because of his devoted (and deluded :kink:) fanbase. He won't rise much further, the Justin Bieber incident last night will stop all future teenstars from becoming successful.

That's what I hope is going to happen anyway. :kink:

But Cody Simpson's music is utterly horrific, I really don't get the appeal with him at all. :drama:

And Bre, are you kidding? Harlem Shake has been played loads on Capital FM, every time I tune in I hear it!

I had Capital on for 3 hours this afternoon and didn't hear Harlem Shake once.
I've heard it loads. Although I do listen to Capital in the evenings...

I Could Be The One is the worst No.1 this year.

i hate it. that part of the song is so annoying.

Oh blimey, I didn't predict that Regina would come in and try and make Griff look like an idiot :o

Bruno for #1 pls.

:D

And Bruno's song is really growing on me! The lyrical content is very close to my heart. But out of all of the possible options, Bastille for #1 please. :kink:
