March 13, 201312 yr I think it could easily do 90k+, although that's all thanks to 'Mirrors'. If he had just released this off the back of 'Suit & Tie' it would be significantly lower than that.
March 13, 201312 yr Bowie's pre-orders may be higher, but Justin Timberlake will probably do a lot better with 'casual' sales (i.e. outside the core fanbase).
March 13, 201312 yr I would also say a bigger % of Timberlake's pre-orders come from iTunes, whereas Bowie would've had a lot more CD pre-orders than Timberlake, seeing as the average age of JT's fanbase is surely much younger. In other words, Timberlake would need to significantly outperform Bowie on iTunes pre-orders just to get the same amount of pre-orders as Bowie overall.
March 13, 201312 yr I love how the poll's options are like "51,000 - 70,000" / "71,000 - 90,000", etc, so if I want to guess 70,500 sales for example, I can't. I think this can sell around 95k copies.
March 14, 201312 yr Single has been massive! It will do about 40-50k+ in the first day. 100k+ in the whole week. Edited March 14, 201312 yr by Stewie
March 14, 201312 yr He must have really strong pre-orders on iTunes. Not left the top 20 within the last month, I'm predicting 100k+

Ok, there would be two people...round it up like we learn in primary school  I think and hope this can do 100,000 in it's first week. :D Fingers crossed! Edited March 14, 201312 yr by Karma
March 14, 201312 yr Or just get the poll right when you set it up. As the saying goes, it's not rocket science
March 14, 201312 yr I say 100k+ If Lana and Emeli could sell that a year ago around this time, I don't see why Justin won't be able to, especially given how big Mirrors is
