ANYWAY, I am giving True Love another change. Popped in on my Walk to College playlist. I MIGHT LEARN TO LOVE IT

I think this is the best choice tbh. I don't think any 4th single they pick is going to do well, as the singles so far are the album's 3 standouts by FAR, but 'True Love' is probably their best bet for even a semi-hit (though I still don't know if it would even go Top 20). I just hope it isn't '$l*t Like You' - her funny/quirky uptempos are a bit tired at this point, I think the fact that 'Blow Me' is the least-successful of the 3 singles despite being released pre-album speaks volumes.

It's not confirmed yet, so there's still a chance they could go with something else?

I now desperately want 'Walk Of Shame' :lol: I'll settle for 'How Come You're Not Here' though.

 

'Walk Of Shame' would be MEGA. 'True Love' is so limp, I seriously hope they don't go with it.

'True Love' or 'Are We All We Are' or nothing else. 'True Love' moreso please!

True Love wasn't performed on the tour when I saw her, which I don't think bodes well for a future single release but you never know!

 

Regina is reminding me of when I hated Mirrors and kept trying to get into it. Luckily, I eventually did and it's one of my favourite songs of the year now! :D :wub:

I agree though its strange that

true love isnt included in the setlist if it is the next single

 

Never mind the 4th single, I'm desperately hoping the 5th single is either 'Beam Me Up' or 'The Great Escape' IF she gets another X Factor performance to showcase it. I feel like either of those songs could be a hit (and take her artistic credibility to the next level) but it would need a big live performance to click with people, like 'Glitter in the Air' became a hit in the States after the Grammys performance.

 

(Although of course, this is all assuming the label don't force her to do a re-release at Xmas with a bunch of 'Just Give Me A Reason' carbon-copies.)

This. It would've probably been a hit for her 6 years ago, but we've heard her do this type of song so many times before (and better) that it's gotten stale. I do think it speaks volumes that 'Blow Me' is the worst-performing of her 3 recent singles despite having the big advantage of being released pre-album.

'Walk Of Shame' is classic P!nk, and SO much better than 'Blow Me' (same for 'How Come You're Not Here' too).
