I'd like so much to disagree with you as I'm a massive Lily fan, but this and Air Balloon have been a little disappointing. I still have high hopes for the album, though.

So Air Balloon has massively grown on me, though I still don't think it should've been a single.

Awful title, much like most of the era's output thus far.

I'm really not a fan, can't even see the funny side. Would have worked as a kooky song title perhaps, but to head the whole album makes it all seem tacky and gimmicky.

 

I'm willing to give the music a chance and am praying she delivers there (which is what really matters) but at the moment I'm drifting further and further away from it all.

I actually like it, I realise it doesn't sound very serious but it's both witty and expressive of potential content - feminism is the theme of at least one song to date. At least it's not "Lily Allen" or something.

Well i'm not denying that the "She" refers to feminism or the female or whatever, i just think there's much more effective ways of going about that. See 'It's Not Me, It's You' which was a witty way of subverting a saying which usually works as man -> woman.
