The Similou was formed after Joel and Erik moved in to the same rehearsal space in late 2003. Erik was one half of the seminal house/electronica duo Plej and Joel had already released albums under the name JOL in the early 00's. With pastel coloured synth loops and key-tar (yes it's back!) in hand they went digging through dance music history, and hand picked the best of Hall & Oates, electroboogie, Prince and early Madonna. The result? One of the freshest and coolest sounding pop singles since Phoenix’s 'If You Ever Feel Better'. track listing 1. All This Love [Radio Edit] 2. All This Love [The Young Punx Club Mix] 3. The resulting mash-up is a match made in neon heaven, a pumped romp that will be pure dancefloor fodder for some, and a guilty pleasure for the rest. Horny As A Dandy is one of the many ingenious mash-ups to appear on EMIs forthcoming mash-up album Mashed. - HMV Release date: 7-8-2006
