Sounds like a hit to me. As the majority of members have said, it all depends as to whether the radio get behind it; and there's no reason they shouldn't (it's very radio-friendly).

I've predicted top 3 - a May release isn't THAT far away that we can immediately rule out #1. I mean "Black Heart" was relatively OA/OS, in that it just kept growing and growing, re-peaking weeks after release.

I said top 5, but hoping for higher, although have a feeling it could go in at #8. Should do well though, it's very catchy and radio friendly and people seem to like it so far, it just needs the promotion.
This would be a #1 I think, going on the song alone, but after the flop of Waterfalls I very much doubt their ability to garner enough support. Saying that, I'd be surprised if this didn't go top 10, I'll say about #7.
Slightly off-topic, but Stooshe have announced they aren't including Waterfalls on their debut album, as seen here. Sort of makes their discography more cleaner, having three consecutive Top 10 singles (presuming Slip goes Top 10) from one album.

It still baffles me that their very lukewarm and pointless cover of 'Waterfalls' was considered good enough to be a single. Completely ruined their momentum after the success of 'Black Heart'.

I've voted Top 3 but think this could well be a #1 contender (the release schedule is looking rather dry around the time this is released so may benefit because of that).

I'd say that's a wise decision. It's like Little Mix cutting 'Cannonball' from their debut album. The type of track that reaks of "but the record company made us record it" even though Little Mix's version wasn't bad, at least it tried to sound different rather than a note for note carbon copy that 'Waterfalls 'was.

I wouldn't have said Stooshe's cover was identical to TLC's. TLC's original seemed quite dark (which suited the lyrics), whereas Stooshe's interpretation was rather... breezy.
