So apparently Gentleman is the next single (see the ChasInc. The Saturdays thread, page 22), post any info about it!

(if it's not Gentleman then I'll amend the topic's name, and if 30 Days isn't on the album I'll change this to single #2)

Still not sure what to make about this choice. It could either smash or flop hard, it all depends on whether people like this different direction. Only time will tell... Obviously I'm hoping this will provide #1 number two!
I love it! Has to go top 5 at least!
I want to hear it. I have been listening to WAU for 8 months and need something new :/

Although, I do agree that EVERY Saturdays single is better than Girls Aloud. <- Lee Wallace abusing his mod powers. Something New >>>>>>>>>>>> every Sats song :)

Well Played! haha I love this song XD

Not Giving Up On Love (or Eyes Wide Open as I prefer to call it) >>>

I've always hated when girl groups do the talk/rap thing. It gives me Girlicious vibes :puke2:

sounds like stooshe and little mix's most recent songs :puke2:

I just listened again here I am not too sure if I will like this :/ I dont like the talking english accent on songs because I really dont like rap music D: Hope it is better than I expect

Obviously, NGUOL is more amazing and better, and obviously Lease My Love is as good if not better than Gentleman, but the latter is definitely something new and interresting for them and it might actually work.
The worrying thing is if the song doesn't work, the album will be dead before it started. Forever Is Over/My Heart Takes over.

That's why I would go with a "safe" but nonetheless brilliant dance track (like Lease My Love) to launch the album. Then get experimental with single choices when it's already selling.

But it looks like Gentleman is decided on now (video already filmed supposedly) so fingers crossed...

Lease My Love isn't really dance, is it? Not Giving Up On Love, alright, but Lease My Love?
With the momentum they've got going now, I think any of those three songs could work as the next single. I think NGUOL could keep the #1 streak going, Lease My Love could probably manage Top 5, but I'm not sure with Gentleman. It could go really right or really, really wrong.

I would say so. That chorus is full on club-pop.

Agreed, it might be 'safe' to go with another fairly typical dance-pop track, but even with their first #1 under their belts I don't think they can afford to be taking risks with quite such a different track for them. Saying that, it does sound very catchy and I'm loving the clip - it would probably just be better as an album track though.

Not Giving Up On Love won't sell the album though. Sure, it might do well as a single but I think they'd rather try and push for album success now. They've more often than not played safe and it doesn't get them anywhere so perhaps they should switch it up with Gentleman. Gentleman is a risk, agreed, but I think the fact it's so different to their usual dancey output would have a better effect in getting people to notice them and interest them in the album than another dancey track will IMO. It might be a disaster, but nobody knows either way.

NGUOL can be a single after the album release. :P

Lease My Love needs to be single #3 I think to keep the album selling (ala Issues), no doubt they'll choose NGUOL, though.
i already prefer gentleman over ego, higher, missing you, 30 days, what about us, my heart takes over, just can't get enough

yall talk like theres only 4 songs to choose from... there may be a corker for single three not from CTS!

is Gentleman definatly the next single?
