This is what frustrates me regarding the girls, they make progress and shoot themselves in the foot. The only thing that's getting me through the live performances will be that it could be an epic failure. Their outfits will be good.

I really like it, not quite as good as I was anticipating. But I adore the chorus.
I've had it on repeat for four times in a row, I give it a 7/10. I can see this having a 30 days chart run..... Capital will playlist this as their appearing at their summertime ball, but I doubt it will manage to go top 10 on Radio airplay.
What's with all the hate I actually really love this :o it's different to there usual dance pop style it sounds like a 90's Rnb track which is why some of there fans might not like it but I think it's good it should attract people to the song who wouldn't normally listen to there music.
After my 3rd listen its growing already I think I'll end up obsessing over this. I need a HQ version.
What on earth are those verses!? And does it even have a chorus? O_o

Barely even album track worthy. NEXT.

I actually LOVE it.

Perfect GIF right now Jay. :P

People will either love or hate this but I think it's a grower at the same time. I'm starting to love it, it's a great pop song with some genius lyrics. I just hope this leaked version is a demo or something because the chorus clip on Chasing The Saturdays sounds so much more powerful and lively. It sounded so much better... if they got rid of it! Hmph. Hopefully HQ will solve some of it and hopefully radio get behind it.

It's going down well on Twitter etc. The only people disliking it seem to be the same old few who constantly bitch about the girls anyway.

I properly love this, the name checking in particular. It does have that feeling of being the type of track that should just be left as a fan favourite on the album admittedly, but I don't see why it shouldn't do pretty well for them.
this song has edge and attitude which their previous 3 singles lacked. MHTO/30/WAU are so non-event that i feel like this is their first single since AFU

Two pointers:

1) I absolutely LOVE this. It's very different sounding to what they've done before but they've pulled it off. And I especially love Mollie's line about milking the cow (inspired/bitchy in the whole could be about a homewrecker type thing/brilliant/just love it generally).

2) Something tells me that if Girls Aloud had come out with a single like this back in 'Chemistry' or even 'Tangled Up' era it'd be 'WOW, they're breaking boundaries again etc'. Because it's The Saturdays for some people it's 'Oh they've shot themselves in the foot again'. And yet it's the very same people who said 'What About Us' was too generic and didn't take risks. Make your minds up for Christ's sake.

Have you actually heard any 90s R&B? I can promise you it sounds nothing like this.

I can hear elements of Salt'n'Pepa - 'Push It' in this and even, dare I say it, some elements of the more 'out there' moments from the first Spice Girls album ('Love Thing' in particular) so maybe not necessarily R&B but the 90's element is definitely there.

This is fab TBH. More instant than All Fired Up was for me, that got a lot of hate on here when it was premiered but it's loved by most now!

yes I have was born in the 90's :) and ok it might not sound straight Rnb but it defintely has 90's elements to it.

I love it!

My only flaws are that there's a good 80 seconds at the end of the song with no chorus and Frankie's "1999" nasally bit grates on me.

Yeah, it's one of those really annoying songs that have the last chorus a minute before the song actually finishes. :( I prefer songs to end on the last chorus not be drawn out with an instrumental and random lyrics (ala All Fired Up).
I know this is weird as well but I LOVE when Una sings the 'A gentleman...is 95...but a real husband' bit. LOVE IT.
At first I was like what the f*** is this?! But its really grown on me, I like how different it is and the lyrics are hilarious/amazing. Not gonna be as big as WAU but it will still be a decent Top 10 for them I think.
