Anyway it's really growing on me now

It's very unusual, quite unexpected to hear The Sats do something unique sounding. I like it on first listen and it sounds like a grower too. The amount of US men namechecked makes me think that this song is specifically for that market though.

Have they said anything about a US release yet? Apparently their show hasn't been axed either, even thought they were pulling in those abysmal numbers.

I'm scared for this release! Ha.

 

People either love it or hate it... there really is no inbetween it seems. I guess it's good that it's got everyone talking about it but I'm kinda nervous now haha. I want it to smash (I can dream on for a second #1 lol) and nab top 5 at least but have a horrible feeling it'll not do all too well. What's everyone else thinking?

True. :) But then I remember 30 Days did well on iTunes first day pre-orders too didn't it? Peaked at #11 or #12 on the album chart the first day it went up for pre-order I think.

 

Of course we won't know how this release will go until radio and TV play properly starts but still... I don't know if this single will be the best thing that's ever happened to them or the worst! Most people hated What About Us and said that would be a flop (myself included lol) upon first listen and look how that turned out so who knows. Then again though, WAU appealed to all sorts of people - hate this word but plenty of 'lads' have been tweeting about how it's a tune which I doubt they will for this single lol (at least not publicly :P). Hats off to them for being brave and going in the different direction to What About Us - nobody can accuse them of playing it safe or being generic or boring this time round... just not sure it'll pay off. It better do!

At least I if it flops they wont get dropped!!! They try a new sound, doesnt work out, back to what about us-esque tracks :D

Bad, at the moment I'd only place '30 Days' and 'Issues' lower in their singles rank.

 

Who knows, maybe in a few weeks time I'll be eating my words but I've heard it 3 times now.

#49 on Uk pre-orders... hopefully it manages to go top 30.

Didn't think much of it until the last minute or so with the list of men. Pretty nice on a first listen but not what I'd expect from a Sats single.

When do we think the video will be out?

Is there some sort of problem with livepopbars again? Remember when what about us came out, live pop bars was down for days. Now Gentleman is out for preorders and its down again. CONSPIRACY!!!!!

I'd say the video will be out next week, probably next Thursday or Friday? Failing that, then the week after.
