I actually kinda like this now. That middle eight needs to die though.

Yeah Vanessa sounds so strained on it. :/

They've had a couple if flops now and they've bounced back! I wouldn't worry. And for anyone thinking they'll get dropped - stop it!! The fact that they just had a number 1 with 114k opening sales, it proves they have the potential to be more amazing than they are given credit for. If anything they would split up first, but I can't see that happening yet. With tv promo and radio promo on release week, I wouldn't worry either
Just OOI, what promo do they have coming up? The usual (Daybreak, Loose Women)? Hopefully a Live Lounge this time round!
Their promotion has not been announced yet, I'm hoping their performing on the final of the voice though! I mean if Beady Eye and Avril Lavigne are able to get promotion slots, hopefully The Saturdays can, although I'm sure The Wanted will be on the final.

Ooo I really hope they do do a live lounge; weird to think their last was 2011.

The Saturdays have insisted that they are "not feeling the pressure" for their new single 'Gentleman' to top the charts.

The group explained they were happy to get a number one single with 'What About Us' earlier this year, but are not bothered about repeating the song's success.

"We're not really feeling the pressure with the new single," Mollie King told Digital Spy. "It's more excitement. We've had that number one which we wanted so much and now we just hope our music continues to do well.

"Coming off the back of a number one is always going to be tricky, but we all love the song and everyone really seems to be getting behind it. That's the most important thing."

Teasing news of their forthcoming album, Frankie Sandford said: "[it's]pretty much done. We think it's going to be out towards the end of the year. We really can't wait for everyone to hear it.

"We've worked with some amazing producers and we're excited to see what the fans think of it."

The Saturdays release 'Gentleman' on June 30.

YEAH. If you say so.

Well the only pressure their under is to go top 10, so they've not really got that much pressure.
Whatever happens to it at least no one can accuse them of not taking a risk now releasing this. I love 'Gentleman' but even I acknowledge that it won't be a number 1. Also I've posted about it already in this forum but 4Music have just acquired 'Chasing the Saturdays' for five weeks of double bill airings from this Thursday so that should be good to help get the single out there - it's in one of the episodes anyway!
You are only able to sell 60,000 copies to make the Top 10 in very rare circumstances. And I heard Slip on local radio stations and Gentlemen on popular music radio stations, so that's a difference.

I don't know if I'm misinterpreting this, but around 30,000 will get you into the top 10 - 60,000 is usually easily enough for a top 5 position!

That's what I meant. I didn't really know how to put it, so I can see why there was some confusion.

Wonderful, they're now saying end of the year for the album release instead of late summer. Maybe they can set a record for most single releases before an album release
It will be released in early October at last which is indeed the end of the year. It makes sense, though. There's always a 12-15 weeks gaps between two singles. Do the math and you'll end up somewhere towards the end of September, then you have to add another week because the album won't be released at the same time as the single and there you go. You got the release date (approx.) ;)

this album is soo gonna not happen. haha

itll be 2018 and they will be like "weve just recorded some wicked songs so its coming soon"... or they will release an EP with 'Notorious' 'AFU' 'MHTO' '30 Days' 'What About Us' and 'Gentleman' with 'NGUOL' and 'Lease My Love' in November....

sorry but if its ready, why would you wait till November - a climate you have PROVED you CANNOT shift albums in!

Jesus, what is happeneing to me? im normally so "everythings glittering" and now im all sat-stressed :(

Does anybody know when Queen is back? I think itll all be OK when she is back in work!

I've never been more excited for an album tbh, especially from them considering it's the longest gap since On Your Radar. :) I guess the fact that Gentleman and What About Us are on it shows how diverse it'll be - hopefully not too much.

It's not going to be released in November, though, babe!

Most likely end of September/Early October. You can deal with that, don't worry love.

It was played twice on Radio 1 today. It's not as if the airplay situation is going to be a disaster this week.
Some of the comments that come from these girls are too much. I really think they are totally ok with mediocracy.
