10 Let Me Down

11s treble clef

10s Liam, Lukuzz, Jack, _Luke_, Toby, FleetSeb

Lowest score: 5 (SceneOfSIXCrimes)

Average: 8.83

Kicking off the top 10 is the highest track to appear from Stronger. Originally leaked prior to the album release in demo form, before we knew about Mr Know It All this was circulating with a rumour of being the lead single. Although this is more the Kelly we're used to, I'm glad Mr Know It All was the lead as it was a really radio friendly track. I do slightly prefer this but it's a bit surprising to see it higher than all of Stronger!

09 Don't Let Me Stop You

11s treble clef, Bec

10s Liam, Jonjo, FleetSeb

Lowest score: 6 (SceneOfSIXCrimes, Mullo, Regina)

Average: 8.84

Another album track next, and the penultimate track to appear from All I Ever Wanted. Another shock too I think, I wouldn't expect this to be a good few places higher than Already Gone and My Life Would Suck Without You. I'm so glad though, this switches with Cry as my favourite AIEW track and right now I think this is it but Cry got my 11! To overuse this term even more, 'classic Kelly' is at her best on this slightly angry pop/rock track. SceneOfSIXCrimes, Mullo and Regina for DEATH.

08 Cry

11s Liam, Lukuzz

10s Toby, Marina Hurts, Regina, THEO., Bec

Lowest score: 7 (Nick F1, Mullo)

Average: 8.92

Continuing with All I Ever Wanted is the heartwrenching ballad Cry, which is the highest placed track from that album. Along with Don't Let Me Stop You, I feel like this was the big single oppurtunity that was missed and probably would have been a better choice than Already Gone for a ballad single. With some of Kelly's best vocals, this definitely ranks among her best ballads for me, and was recently covered in Glee's 4th season episode 'Choke' by Rachel Berry (Lea Michele).

07 Irvine

11s treble clef

10s Liam, Jack, _Luke_, Toby, Eyes, Marina Hurts,

Lowest score: 4 (Silver Rocket)

Average: 9.05 (less 11s)

Probably one of the two or three biggest shocks in this, in a good way  The second highest placed track from My December (only losing on a tie break!) is the absolutely heartbreaking acoustic ballad Irvine. I very much regret not givng this an 11 because it is without doubt the most emotionally effective track Kelly has ever released in my opinion. Named after the place it was written, Irvine was conceived at a time which Kelly describes as the lowest point in her life and so it's hardly surprising Kelly channels such emotion into it.

06 Sober

11s Liam, Lukuzz, Jack, Grief, gooddelta, Toby, Jonjo,

10s _Luke_, FleetSeb, Mullo, Bec

Lowest score: -1 (Marina Hurts)

Average: 9.05 (more 11s)

And probably THE biggest shock of the rate is this stone cold fan favourite not coming top 5! Probably harmed by a -1 like My Life Would Suck Without You and Stronger, this sobering (hahahahaha) acoustic ballad is quite similar to Irvine but is largely preferred. Only given a soft release, it peaked at #110 in the US without a radio release or music video. Easily one of her best songs though, and one of her most emotional. Picking up 7 11s, it is second only to the winner of this rate in that respect.

--

I'll wait for another couple of comments now to do the rest *hint hint* I would only have put two in this post, but I didn't want to split a tie break over two posts :P

Cry >>>> Sober.

I find Sober good but a tad on the overrated side.

Let Me Down is amazing and should have been released, DLMSY is also very good but maybe a tad high. Brilliant to see Cry so high one of my fave ever Kelly songs. Irvine is great but didn't expect it so high up. And Sober clearly should have been at least top 3! Best Kelly song ever.

I never realised 'Cry', 'Let Me Down' or 'Irvine' were popular enough to finish top 10! A bit baffling. They should switch places with 'I Forgive You', 'My Life Would Suck Without You' and 'Already Gone'. But hey, this is a Queen Kelly rate and nearly everything is top 10 worthy! :innocent:

Very pleased 'Don't Let Me Stop You' and 'Sober' finished top 10. Both easily inside my top 5 Kelly tracks ever.

What's to come LiLi? The holy trinity of 'Since U Been Gone', 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' and 'Because Of You'. But what else? :o

EDIT: 'People Like Us' and 'Catch My Breath'? If so, 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)' should be replaced with the latter with the three at the top of this post replacing those other three, this would have been such a perfect top 10 :(

I realise I didn't vote and can't cast too much judgement, but a top 10 that doesn't feature Stronger and My Life Would Suck Without You is MADNESS.

Yep, Jonjo is correct! Still to come are Because Of You, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Catch My Breath, People Like Us and Since U Been Gone.

05 Catch My Breath

11s Liam, Jack, Mullo, Bec

10s Toby, Scherz

Lowest score:6 (SceneOfSIXCrimes)

Average: 9.19

One of Kelly's most recent singles kicks off her 5 best scoring tracks here. The breezy Catch My Breath was released in 2012 as the lead single from Kelly's greatest hits collection Chapter One and is happy Kelly at her best, shrugging off problems with 'I ain't got time for that'. This was probably boosted by the fact it's newer than a lot of tracks here, but I do love it (hence the 11) and how happy it is  Unfortunately this wasn't as much of a success commerically as many of Kelly's other singles - peaking at #51 in the UK (lower than Stronger's post album singles despite being released before the Greatest Hits) and #19 in the US.

Catch My Breath is a great song.

I hope the next 4 end up like this -

1. Because Of You

2. Behind These Hazel Eyes

3. People Like Us

4. Since U Been Gone

I'm not the biggest of Kelly fans, but Catch My Breath is absolute perfection. I didn't vote here but that would have been my 11 points really easily  Top 5 here is good though!
Catch My Breath is good and all, but one of her worst singles :(
Loving the results so far, I really REALLY don't get the love for Sober, it's one of her most overrated songs.

04 Since U Been Gone

11s Jonjo, Toby, gooddelta, Marina Hurts, Silver Rocket

10s Liam, Jack, _Luke_, FleetSeb, Mullo, Eyes, Scherz, Bec, THEO.

Lowest score: -1 (Griff)

Average: 9.22

The biggest song of Kelly's song 'only' manages 4th in Buzzjack's affections! Since U Been Gone was released as the first worldwide single from Kelly's second album Breakaway and smashed worldwide, becoming her 3rd US top 10 single and her 2nd UK top 10 single, as well as her biggest selling UK single and being certified platinum in the US. A classic punchy pop/rock track, Since U Been Gone set the standard for the rest of Kelly's career. Personally, although I gave it a 10 I think she has surpassed this many times in her career, but it's still fantastic and a stone cold pop classic that everyone seems to love. Unless you're Griff of course :drama:

Lowest score: -1 (Griff)

It's impressive that one person can be so wrong about so many things.

I'd hold 'Since U Been Gone' up as one of the best modern pop songs, let alone being Kelly's best.

03 People Like Us

11s Jonjo

10s Liam, Lukuzz, FleetSeb, Marina Hurts, Regina, Bec

Lowest score: 7 (treble_clef)

Average: 9.30

Just missing out on the all important top 2 is Kelly's most recent single in this rate, People Like Us, as she released her country single Tie It Up during the countdown process. As the second single from Chapter One, it followed Catch My Breath and is another anthemic pop/rock track with an uplifting message about sticking together. So far, it hasn't gone top 100 in the UK and has only peaked at #73 in the US. It's yet another triumph for Kelly though, and although it isn't her best track it's still incredible for me! I am quite shocked it managed an average of 9.30 but still.

And so that leave two of Breakaway's singles, released back to back, fighting for the top. But have you placed the emotional piano ballad Because Of You or the self assured pop/rock track Behind These Hazel Eyes at the top? The top 2 might have to be tomorrow sorry but if there are comments before my internet goes off I can do it tonight :D

Since when was having different tastes and opinions a criminal offence?!

I don't like Since U Were Gone because it's very overrated and uninteresting. That's all...
