April 7, 201312 yr Ouch at Flaming Lips... #42 is REALLY bad Embryonic didn't reach top 40 either but that was Q4
April 7, 201312 yr Wow 4 tracks inside the top 75 singles chart for Imagine Dragons And Nicki Minaj re- enters at #65 with High School. Looks like Justin Timberlake for a 4th week at #1 in the albums next week.
April 7, 201312 yr The OCC aren't crediting MNEK, just Duke Dumont featuring AME Thanks for that, MW states different.
April 7, 201312 yr Author The OCC aren't crediting MNEK, just Duke Dumont featuring AME Music Week is the ONLY place MNEK is credited - I have no idea where they got the idea that he's a featured artist from? He's just a songwriter. For some reason I'm getting the feeling that both 'Radioactive' and 'It's Time' could be potential new versions of 'Iris', peaking reasonably low now but much higher in a few decades' time after being used on some TV show. I'm sure no one will remember I said that if it does happen though  Surprised to see 'Demons' making the top 75 as I don't recall it going much higher than the mid-70s on iTunes, I guess it must have had a second version as well like 'On Top Of The World' and 'It's Time'. April 7, 201312 yr Looks like Justin Timberlake for a 4th week at #1 in the albums next week. What makes you think that?
April 7, 201312 yr I had hoped Imagine Dragons would have remained number 1 in the album chart, number 2 is still great though and its a good week for them on the singles chart too. Bon Jovi falling much to fast for my liking in the album chart.
April 7, 201312 yr Is it me or were there loads of new entries in the album chart this week - more than usual, I mean. Edited April 7, 201312 yr by AnthonyT
April 7, 201312 yr Really glad Justin held on for a 3rd week in the albums and Mirrors going back into the Top 3 too :D
April 7, 201312 yr annoyed at tom odell not making the top 40. looks like the brits may have got it wrong, he cant get a hit
April 7, 201312 yr Would have preferred it if Michael Buble had fallen out of the Top 10 from the mids: if Hollywood couldn't make it then It's a Beautiful Day shouldn't have. Shame Imagine Dragons couldn't hold on to number one, but it was to be expected after how much Justin Timberlake closed in on them throughout the week. Still been quite the week for them though, a #2 album is great and 3 tracks in the singles chart - one of which is re-peaking in it's 19th week! :drama: Brilliant to see the second 3 million selling album to reach the Top 10 this year. Also great that David Bowie and Stereophonics are holding up so well.
April 8, 201312 yr Music Week is the ONLY place MNEK is credited - I have no idea where they got the idea that he's a featured artist from? He's just a songwriter. For some reason I'm getting the feeling that both 'Radioactive' and 'It's Time' could be potential new versions of 'Iris', peaking reasonably low now but much higher in a few decades' time after being used on some TV show. I'm sure no one will remember I said that if it does happen though  Surprised to see 'Demons' making the top 75 as I don't recall it going much higher than the mid-70s on iTunes, I guess it must have had a second version as well like 'On Top Of The World' and 'It's Time'. 'Radioactive' will eventually go Top 10, and possibly even Top 5. Book it.
April 8, 201312 yr Michael Buble made the top 10 which is great, a single digit peak would have been slightly nicer i must admit.
April 8, 201312 yr Loving Bastille's 4th week at Number 5 :D 2-3-5-5-5-5 is such a good chart run! Also loving the fact that Kodaline get a 3rd week in the Top 30, and Haim going Top 30! Just a shame about Pink being denied a Number 1.
