May 24, 201312 yr Mercury Records tweeted about the song and it is there US label so maybe it is featured on album?
May 24, 201312 yr I'd imagine their worldwide sales look something like this: United Kingdom 325,000 United States 80,000 Germany 30,000 Ireland 7,000 Canada 5,000 Everywhere Else 20,000 For a total of about 470,000. When all is said and done I see them finishing around 600,000 (like Wall said) unless something unforeseen happens (like US promotion). Edited May 24, 201312 yr by LoveKiller
May 24, 201312 yr What About US has really surprised me thw last two weeks. Just when you think it's over, it climbs the charts haha!! I think even a price slash of 20 pence would benefit this massively? I'd What About US is still top 100 When Gentleman charts, will this be the first time to consecutive singles have charted together? not to mention What About US will probably go top 40 again when Gentleman is released!!!
May 25, 201312 yr Where does everybody think this is going to drop too next week? It's currently #35 on iTunes (Although Thrift Shop is ahead combined). Olly Murs, Daft Punk and Robin are all ahead of them putting them at #33 on iTunes. I'm hoping that tomorrow the weekend effect and radio 1 effect is able to put them back top 30 on iTunes to ensure another potential week top 40. Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull – Live It Up Olly Murs – Dear Darlin' Robin Thicke feat T.I & Pharrell – Blurred Lines Stylo G - Soundbwoy Saying that The Voice & BGT should have songs that will have an impact on iTunes (who performs what, guest performers etc). My prediction is #43-44, although I'm sure it will be decent enough sales. Dropped to #61 in Germany which is surprising, looks like it might get another week top 100.
May 25, 201312 yr I would love a drop to #40 as it would mean it would stay another week in the top 40, but #42-#43 feels more likely. Worse, they could be close and be #41.
May 25, 201312 yr Apparently is was #39 on Thursdays midweek, after not being in the top 40 on Wednesday, and since its been top 40 on iTunes since Wednesday night amd stayed stable or climbed, I think they've got another week top 40 in the bag :D that will make 10 weeks top 40 :D It's been 10 weeks top 40 in Ireland!! :D just realised. Is that there longest?
May 25, 201312 yr I don't have the chart runs to hand, but 'Ego' spent 17 weeks in the Top 30 (Yes I do mean to write Top 30, not Top 40!) | Source: http://www.irishcharts.ie/search/placement

It's impressive.
May 26, 201312 yr it must have been incredibly close to #34 and #35, but any climb is rather delightful. Yeah, I think it's fair to say this is going to be their last week top 40 now, unless there's a price reduction next week. #40 on iTunes, hopefully it manages to overtake Stooshe, John Legend and PSY, although Macklemore combined is ahead of them. I predict a drop to #43 next week, I'm just delighted that they managed to get 10 weeks top 40.
May 26, 201312 yr Very happy! Was worried a few weeks ago it wouldn't get 10 weeks top 40 but yay! :D
May 26, 201312 yr The 59p songs seem to be decreasing in popularity so they may be able to clinch another week. Regarding Red, does anyone know why that song has re-entered so high?

That might just be the weekend effect, I'm hoping The Script & John Legend fall behind The Saturdays tomorrow, although I'm sure Olly Murs, Ellie Goulding and songs performed on BGT will overtake them throughout the week. Red & Little Talks have both went top 20 on iTunes as both songs were performed on The Voice.

Red & Little Talks have both went top 20 on iTunes as both songs were performed on The Voice. I can't see BGT having any real effect on the charts. Avril Lavigne performed a medley a few years ago and neither song troubled the top 200, and I don't think it had any effect on The Wanted/LMFAO last year when they performed besides their songs climbing up the charts a few places (they were recent singles). Rebecca Ferguson performed an album track last year and it didn't go top 100 so I can't imagine Olly's album track being a threat to the top 40. What's Ellie performing? Unless it's a brand new single then again, I don't think we need to worry about her.

Yeah, but single sales are quite low, I'm confident that Olly Murs 'Right Place Right Time' will go top 40 on iTunes along with Ellie Goulding 'Explosions'.
May 26, 201312 yr I think they can have another week in the top 40 again. I mean we were all writing them off and saying they would chart between #40-#44 and here they are at #36. ;)
May 26, 201312 yr The difference being that multiple 59p songs and BGT/Voice songs had dropped out of the charts, there's no way Red & Little Talks is going to miss the top 40 this week. It's all quite close though, so here's hoping the 'Gentleman' video has a good effect next week. 32. The Script - The Man Who Can't Be Moved 4.1% 33. Justin Timberlake - Mirrors 4.1% 34. Stooshe - Slip 4% 35. The Lumineers - Ho Hey 4% 36. John Legend - Ordinary People 3.9% 37. Duke Dermont - Need U 100% 3.9% 38. Imagine Dragons - Radioactive 3.9% 39. Psy - Gentleman 3.5% 40.
