Posted April 9, 201312 yr Robbie: Adele out, Bublé in for new album Robbie Willaims says he's too terrified to ask his friend Adele to sing a duet with him for his new swing album but he has confirmed that he'll be recording a new song with Canadian crooner Michael Bublé. Speaking to RTÉ Ten about the on-going rumours that he's working with Adele, 39-year-old Williams said: "She's my mate and I'm absolutely terrified to ask her! I haven't asked her and I won't be asking her because the whole world wants to sing with Adele right now. "She and my wife, Ayda, are really good friends and I'm really good friends with Simon, her boyfriend. We're good pals but I wouldn't ask Adele to sing on my record. The whole world wants Adele to sing on their record. I think we'll just leave it as a nice friendship so that story about a duet is totally made up." Williams did reveal that he's planning to team up with Michael Buble for the new swing album which he hopes will emulate the success of Swing When You're Winning, the 2001 album which became the biggest success of Williams' career after it sold eight million copies. "I can tell you that Mr Michael Bublé is on the album," Robbie said. "Me and Michael on the same record, I'm so excited! We're going to record a song I've written and graciously, he thinks it's a good tune too and wants to be on it and I am a big fan-girl of him. "He's quite a presence. I'm a pop star, I've got a `character' and a `personality' and all that but when he comes into the studio, I stand back and just enjoy him being him." In the interview with RTÉ Ten, Robbie also talks about being on "bots, barf and bath" duty with his six-month-old daughter Theodora Rose and why the new crop of pop stars are "terrified" of the media. rte.ie
April 12, 201312 yr Author It’s the Bob and Bub act Robbie Williams and Michael Buble duet http://i45.tinypic.com/316nhn9.jpg MUMS everywhere will be trembling at the knees with news of a new duet – ROBBIE WILLIAMS and MICHAEL BUBLE are working together. The former TAKE THAT man and the Canadian crooner have recorded a song about Robbie’s favourite thing – UFOs. The likely lads have bonded over their similar lives. Michael said: “I don’t think there’s anyone in my life, at this point, who I could relate to the way I could with Robbie. “We’re around the same age, we’ve gone through a lot of the same things. He’s just become a dad, I’m just about to. We both have problems, we both probably go too far with things we do. He just talks about it more than I do.” Michael said of their song: “It’s catchy and fun, neo-swing. One of the lyrics is ‘Soda pop, Yoda what?’ Robbie wrote it when looking at UFOs.” sun uk

April 15, 201312 yr Not a Buble fan then Ossy? I don't know many men that are tbh :P His songs just aren't any good and his covers never live up to the originals...Plus during interviews and alike he just seems like a tosser.
April 15, 201312 yr Not many artists covers do live up to the originals to be fair Ossy. I'm listening to the new Michael Buble album today, I like him
April 16, 201312 yr I'm pleased to hear about the duet, could be amazing but I do hope it's not too much about UFO's!! What's wrong with an oldfashioned lovesong eh?
April 17, 201312 yr Author Robbie Williams blames Michael Buble for leaking duet news Wednesday 17 Apr 2013 http://i46.tinypic.com/2qixu7l.jpg Pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS has blamed MICHAEL BUBLE for ruining a big surprise for fans by leaking news of their duet. The singers have recorded a track together for Williams' upcoming big band album, a follow-up to his hit 2001 cover record Swing When You're Winning, and Buble confirmed the news during an interview last month (Mar13). However, Williams was hoping to keep the collaboration a secret before Buble bragged about the project. He tells the Irish Independent, "Me and Michael was supposed to be a secret for the time being, but since he let the cat out of the bag before me, I'm not in any trouble for once." The former Take That star goes on to insist he enjoyed working with the Canadian crooner, adding, "I hope we can do it again." okmagazine Edited April 17, 201312 yr by Sydney
April 18, 201312 yr I think Robbie and Mr Bubble will be good on stage together. Have they ever sung a duet live before?
April 20, 201312 yr I can't wait!!! I used to dislike Buble's music (I only heard a couple of his songs when he first started), but then I saw videos of some of his concerts. I admit I don't listen to him much but I like him and what and how he does music. I've always liked his voice - one of the most beautiful male vocals I've ever heard. The other day I saw him at the Graham Norton Show, singing to a couple of mothers-to-be and.... ugh.. why those mothers didn't have their babies right there and then is beyond me!!!
April 22, 201312 yr I think he comes across quite well at interviews. Quite funny. :) Yes! A friend of mine commented yesterday she doesn't like him because he once said he doesn't allow girls on tour because he'd sleep with them  (or fall in love with them, not sure which one it was  ) I honestly don't care. I like his music -_-
April 23, 201312 yr I find Buble cool. He's got a nice groove in his voice and he looks gentle and fun overall. He is like the dancey-clumsy-villager  I like a few of his songs but I never play then all at once, they can get a bit boring. I am actually surprised I like him even that much because the genre is far from my favoirite. I am not sure about the duet though... man-man duets are a difficult thing imo.
April 23, 201312 yr Yeah, especially when they stare into each other eyes on stage.... I was asked if I wanted to go see a Mr Bubble tribute act in May. I declined. -_-
April 25, 201312 yr I suspect he was a bit of a lad in his younger days. Not a goody two shoes at all. Or am I totally wrong? Dunno. Just get that impression. Don't know much about him
May 10, 201311 yr Author Am I reading this incorrectly ... do ElCommercio think Adele is a man or is it just 'lost in translation' http://elcomercio.pe/espectaculos/1572621/...u-proximo-disco Thanks to RWAP
