It's quite a "victory" for dance music that Rudimental is beating will.i.am to #1. Finally getting revenge on the US urban artists.

I'm surprised to see Ariana Grande still in the top 100. Potentially a summer anthem of 2013 if it gets more well-known (although I wouldn't be too surprised if Rudimental have the "song of the summer" for the 2nd year in a row).

Iggy back to #20 yay, but still needs to gain a lot to make any impact on next week's chart :(

I just looked at the new release schedule and saw that Frankie Cokeupthenozza has a new song out next week, imagine if that gets to number 1  his last single was a #89 smash.
On another note, Top 100 smash for Caro Emerald this week (Tangled Up).

I suspect her album must have a fair chance at #1 though, if it's a quiet week...

Except that wasn't OA/OS at all, because they were daft and held it back a month. And even then R1 only playlisted it a week before release. And it's still on the A-List two months after flopping, when "Still Into You" is doing quite well. Possibly the worst handling of a song by record company and radio that I've seen in a long time.

Although i much prefere 'Still into You' now the first single is on the alist as a first single and SIY has an impact date of 22nd May. Think they have Now in the alist because of the album being released and having a strng start with their first number 1!

On another note - is the new Jessie Ware song an OA/OS release, havent seen it anywhere?

Rudimental doublt last weeks no1 so if it keeps this up could be close to 100k!!

Looks like the top 2 singles are going to be new entries, there seems to be a big gap between 2 and 3.

And wtf moment for Emeli Sande at #13  I love her music but... never mind.

Is Jessie Wares song OA/OS?

You already asked that question and got answers... :D

Stooshe have not even went top 1500 with Slip yet (Pre-Order). If they get top 10, it will drop really quick.

Get that second top 10 smash PSY :w00t: Anyone have that link to the iTunes top 10s around the world? Would like to see how he's doing elsewhere.

This may be an Eric_Blob moment but does anyone think the nuclear war crisis is North Korea is helping K-pop sales? I know that K-pop comes from South Korea, but when people hear Korea they might think of K-pop, or vice versa...

It's got a month to go and the week they're releasing is totally dead, I'm sure it'll do well.

I've only heard Slip two times on the music channels and it's not had any airplay yet as far as I know. At the moment, it's going to be a Top 20 hit at best!

Another surprise in the chart over the next few weeks will be The Loveable Rogues getting a Top 10 hit with their new song.

We need to find out in the next week or two if Radio 1 are going to playlist it...

If they don't, then of course I'll retract my prediction of it doing well.
