Happy birthday to me :yahoo:

And OMFG @ Daft Punk :o  It seemed to be much more hyped in the US than here.

Bloody hell at Daft Punk. :o

I like the song, but I had no idea they were even that big any more. Especially after the Human After All era back in 2005...

The problem with Human After All is that it was shit :kink: It was their biggest era in the US though, and the Tron soundtrack was decent. They're collaborating with some absolute legends at the moment, can't wait to hear the album.

Daft Punk are actually incredible, and I'm pleased that they've got their first hit for 12 years at least for all the influences that they provided for dance music of the 21st century.

I adored 'Robot Rock' and the title track, but yeah, those were all the album had going for it IMO.

When was this officially released? The climb seems amazingly fast.

What about Technologic? That's one of Daft Punk's most well known hits and it might be one of the best regarded as well.

At some point this morning.

It was released at 5am (midnight US time, hence the earlier confusion)

It's overrated IMO, although having said that it still didn't deserve what Busta Rhymes did to it a year later.

I wish maybe it was released in the beginning of the week and maybe they has a shoot to the top!

The hype all around the world is HUGE.

Daft Punk are one of those bands that everyone knows about though. Their influence in dance and electronic music is insane. Columbia need to take some credit for the way they've promoted the new era.

LOL???

2 Daft Punk - Get Lucky (Radio Edit) [feat. Pharrell Will... 0.8329 0.2596

It will be number 1 in minutes!!!

OMG how did it rise that quickly - its not like Rudimental are selling poorly like last week - if this had been released on Sunday it could have been no1 next week, its lack of airplay at this point will mean it will most likely fall rather fast!
Pharrell is another to add to the list of mid 00s superstars getting top 10 in 2013!

Although he was credited on SHM - One in 2010!
