I did like Brennisteinn so I'll think I'll have to give this a listen.

"Ísjaki" is a bit average, but "Brennisteinn" is one of the best things they've done in a while. Brilliant stuff!

Listening to this now and already LOVING pretty much from the very start of 'Brennisteinn' :wub: So much love for this band.

 

'Brennisteinn' was the best song on there on first listen but absolutely adore 'Yfirborð' and 'Stormur' and the end of 'Kveikur' in particular otherwise. 'Var' is a lovely closer as well.

Playing this album more now that the days are (whisper it: getting shorter) - still absolutely love "Brennisteinn", "Bláþráður", "Kveikur" and "Rafstraumur". Great album.

Don't think I could choose between 'Brennisteinn' and 'Ísjaki' for favourite on the album. Both too good.
