July 16, 201312 yr I suspect one wanted to leave it or had enough as it does not make sense for a group who get along and still manage to perform relatively well (sales wise) to split up,something went on which will eventually come out.

I know. And if something has gone on that has resulted in this split then that's really sad in a way. I always thought of JLS as the sensible ones. They used to talk about how they listened to the ones that had been there, done it and lost it like Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams or Geri Halliwell and said they weren't gonna make the same mistakes they did.
July 17, 201312 yr They should know that once you split that is it. Bands who split dont achieve the solo success they think they will and they have seen this happen on numerous time. Likewise if they decide to reform it just wont work with the exception of Take That most of the bands who reform dont achieve any where near the levels of success they previously had. If everything was fine in camp JLS all they needed to do was work with new people and release something fresh and increase interest in them again and promote promote promote, it just does not make sense to split when they know all this.

There are more reasons to split than not having anything fresh to release. They just didn't want to work as a band anymore and wanted to do other things, not just solo careers but their own projects, and that's fair enough, surely?

That was just the problem though - they moved from Epic to RCA for 'Evolution' and their management (which they share with One Direction) were suddenly doing nothing for them anymore but they were too polite to find another management team that'd give them full focus. No one outside of their own fans seem to know the last album even came out. Without wishing to make them sound like Leona Lewis here they were almost too polite for their own good in that respect. In so far as solo projects, Aston to me seems like he'd make a success of himself singing wise. He's by far the most popular member - more so since being a judge on 'Got to Dance' and he's vocally very strong, probably the strongest along with Oritse (who I don't see taking off in a big way. He means well and he's a good bloke but the new Michael Jackson he isn't) and his dancing is on point - so given the right material that reflects him and his personality I can see Aston being the Robbie/Justin of JLS. I can see Marvin making a success of presenting but I'm otherwise unconvinced by his claims of wanting to be 'the next David Guetta'. All he does on Capital at the moment is segue records into one another - and I thought DJ'ing was more than that? Still I suppose he could prove me wrong. I see him and Rochelle (if/when The Saturdays decide to wrap it up) being like the new Holly and Phillip on This Morning or a similar show. I think JB will probably have little to do with performing again until a potential reunion TBH. But he seems happy with his farming plans he has in store so good for him.
September 12, 201311 yr Author Official artwork. And sadly I'm not kidding either. http://distilleryimage1.ak.instagram.com/ce855c901bbe11e38a6522000a9f17d4_7.jpg This artwork to me says a lot about A) their label and B) who is the cause of this split in the first place. This should be celebratory and reflective, not something a 3 year old could have made on Photoshop in 5 minutes. :(
September 12, 201311 yr Oh dear, that is horrendous. They could have at least got one last photoshoot together.
September 12, 201311 yr Author Even the cover of their last book would have made a better album cover than this (and that is in actual fact what I intend to do): http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51eF2imrutL._SY1500_.jpg
September 12, 201311 yr LMAO at that artwork  Even 1D's placeholder artwork is better than it, lol.

September 18, 201311 yr Looks like an 80s compilation CD cover! Funny how JLS are up against Robbie once again in the charts!
October 4, 201311 yr Author I believe the expression 'ARE YOU HAVING A F***ING LAUGH?' comes to mind with the tracklisting. There better be some bonus stuff on the deluxe version or I WILL kick off. Standard Tracklist: 1. Beat Again 2. Everybody in Love 3. One Shot 4. The Club is Alive 5. Love You More 6. Eyes Wide Shut (feat. Tinie Tempah) 7. She Makes Me Wanna (feat. Dev) 8. Take a Chance on Me 9. Do You Feel What I Feel? 10. Proud 11. Hottest Girl in the World 12. Billion Lights
October 4, 201311 yr That track-list  Not surprised there's only one new song there, it seems like they just can't be arsed any more and just want to move on...
October 4, 201311 yr Oh dear! Bracing myself for the second disc on the deluxe being Karaoke versions. :kink:
October 4, 201311 yr Oh dear! Bracing myself for the second disc on the deluxe being Karaoke versions. :kink: Well on the subject of alternate versions (or karaoke :kink:), I'd really love if the second disc was acoustic versions of each of the songs, or a select few songs.
October 4, 201311 yr I'm bummed that "Hold Me Down" has been left out, it's one of my favourites. I understand that it wasn't a hit in any context but it's the one single that they've missed off and it wouldn't have hurt since they've only got 12 tracks on there anyway. <_<
