Daft Punk are continuing to hold up insanely well (Rudimental back down to 0.44! although now with a second version nearing the top 40), looks like even if Chris Malinchak does 90k he could end up with a #2 peak. I do want Chris Malinchak to get #1 (even though I prefer 'Get Lucky' as a song).

 

'Iris' back to #5. I wonder if Jameela will acknowledge that this won't be the first time the song has gone top 10 after use on a talent show. Probably not.

Not a big fan of the song, doesn't do much for me, but hope Misha B can also get top 40 with her new single, even if it is #40 like Amelia.

Is this the song Stooshe seem to be covering on the new release of their album? Such a classic song, but I really cannot imagine Stooshe covering it, at all! :\

 

That Michael Molloy song is beautiful too! Just read (after seeing youtube comments saying "rip" etc...) that he died in a coach crash or something, he was just 18 years old. (He doesn't sing - that's Alex, so I presume he produced, wrote or played the guitar in the song - maybe all of them)

 

Also, sorry if it's been said, but how come 2Pac is up to #43 with 'Changes'? (Amazing song - I'm presuming 'The Voice' or 'Britain's Got Talent'). A song it reminds me of is Twista's 'Hope'. I really do wish that'd get used in a show like that and get a positive boost from it. :(

 

 

Michael wrote, recorded and played guitar on the song, with Alex on vocals :) he died in the coach crash on the A3 in Surrey coming back from Bestival last year on September 10th. Family are pushing massively for a number 1 but the sales figures to achieve that would have to be ridiculous considering Daft Punk etc. Massive shame.

Super super sad, my friend died in the same crash so it's super close to home and we're hoping for a high position, I know it's going to chart but sadly I don't think it'll be very high. A massive triumph for 2 unsigned artists anyway. Please buy the track if you enjoy it!

J Cole has definitely been in the top 100 on iTunes before, I think it was with Work Out. Miguel also briefly got top 100 on iTunes with Adorn before.
