Posted April 29, 201312 yr How I compile my charts: With a few exceptions, I don't go out of my way to seek out new songs - I usually wait until I hear them on the radio. I mainly listen to Radio 1 and for this reason, most (though not all) songs in my chart are those which are played on Radio 1. I don't usually add a song to my chart until it's playlisted on Radio 1. Songs generally tend to climb gradually as they grow on me, peak and then fall fast, so the chart looks similar to an 80's/90's singles chart. I also usually get bored of a song within a few weeks, so songs don't generally tend to hang around the chart for more than a few weeks - typically around 9 or 10 weeks for a Number 1. Yeah I've listened to the Paramore album and I quite like it - Hate to See Your Heart Break is good but IMO there are better songs on the album :P and yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Get Lucky is YTD #1 in the next few weeks :D
