Looks like a dance top 3 next Sunday, I'm pretty sure Rudimental will just slip a place with the album track.

Re; Gabrielle Aplin's new single, I find it quite disappointing after a rather lush cover of 'The Power Of Love' and, imo, the sublime 'Please Don't Say You Love Me'. Her new single hasn't had anywhere near the same impact the first two singles did. :(

Remember Gabrielle does have good EP sales, and she sells a lot of physicals so I still think she will manage top 30 at the very least!

Yes, it is. It contains elements of house, disco and funk and has been made by a dance music duo.

Just heard So Good To Me for the first time, pretty damn awful :/ This Is What It Feels Like, however, is sublime.

I'm sure he isn't as if you believe that then Armin and Gabrielle are both decreasing too, it's just Kworb messing up slightly as it sometimes does in the "Now" column.

There's a difference between "dance-pop" and dance music. We haven't had much proper dance music in the charts the past few years until recently. People like David Guetta are really hated by most house music fans.

lol. I never would've believed a couple of weeks ago that it might miss #1, but I never expected that Get Lucky would be selling 150,000 per week, so I won't blame myself. :lol:

Yes, but I don't think 'Get Lucky' sounds anything like house (or techno) either. :lol: I dunno, it just feels like a straightforward retro disco song, and compared to today's music, disco is closer to pop (arguably even R&B) than it is to dance. I can't help but feel if this song wasn't by an act who usually do dance music then no-one would think of this song as dance.

I noticed this too. It's disappointing, because the vocals are that much better on the radio/music video version than they are on the iTunes release. <_<

The Marvin Gaye sample wasn't cleared for the digital release, it looks like.
