Belarus hosting? First of all, I don't think they can manage that, second of all, even though it'd be super easy for me to travel there next year, I don't want to, and third of all, Belarus will never win :D

Minsk hosting would be lovely because tourists are actually not welcome there, it's the most hostile city towards tourists in Europe.

Indeed. I think I already mentioned the law they tried or DID implement there which doesn't allow several people to be outside together at the same time or something here. mini-Russia :wub:

With Belarus hosting 2014 IIHF World Championship in Minsk, it'd be interesting to see them hosting ESC 2014 too, city full of tourists - they'd be over the moon :wub:

Saw the jury final last night. Amazing. Petra's music number had me laughing on the floor (Carola, OMG!) can't wait for people to see it! Also keep an eye out for the stunning Sarah Dawn Finer.

Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Malta and the UK had the best reactions last night. I'm still believing Bonnie will have a result similar to Andrew Lloyd Webber's. As for Malta and Belgium... I've no idea what people were on.

Margaret Berger was just stunning to see live. It's such an impactful staging, much more live than on the TV. I still believe she can fight for it. I'm not as convinced by Denmark as I was before. The crowd reaction was big, but not as big as it seemed in SF1, she won't have that big of a lead if she wins. Also, Georgia was appalling. The whole number stank of desperation and is so clichéd. Especially the bit they chose for the recap where they're basically begging (BABY) for votes.

 

Gonna see the final in the park and going straight to the club to see Loreen! Woo! They better play Be My Valentine too!

UK getting a good reaction from the jury final is promising, considering that's what let Blue down isn't it? Maybe I shouldn't, but I have a good feeling tonight - but a good feeling for me regarding UK at Eurovision is just top 15 these days.

I see Bonnie ending up at 18th place tonight. Would love it if the UK did better though. Cascada ftw.

GAHHHHH wish I was seeing Loreen! I'll be in the park though, was there for Scandipop's night last night and hearing all those songs one after another was just incredible.

Considering the positive reaction to the jury final Bonnie could finish in a similar position to Blue.

I'd love to see Cascada win, but if they don't then I definitely want Emmelie to win! :wub: I predicted yesterday that Bonnie would finish 17th so I'll stick by that!

 

The performances have just finished in the final dress rehearsal, biggest cheers went to Finland, Germany, Romania, UK (:cheer: they all love Bonnie in here!), Sweden (obvs), Denmark, Greece and Norway.

 

Cascada cut a bit of the first verse out instead of the instrumental after the chorus, it sounds WAY better now. Belarus cocked up massively and took about a minute to start because of their discoball thing not working, hope that doesn't happen later!

 

Loreen was incredible and did a medley of We Got The Power, My Heart Is Refusing Me and Euphoria, phenomenal![

 

The interval act is probably the best thing I've ever seen! Carola :wub:
