Wow - just seen Naughty Boy's lead on iTunes - even allowing for the 2nd version of DP, they are still farther behind (31%) than I possibly expected! :o

But I am expecting NB to lose steam from now and on which will allow DP to catch within 24-36 hours...but will it be enough to beat NB till Sunday, remains to be seen.

Heard 'La La La' on Capital last night (also heard 2 other new songs for the first time - 'Goin' Crazy' and 'Love Me Again' - Capital in a vaguely fresh mood for once). Really liking it on first listen  Not too annoyed at it knocking Daft Punk off. I agree though that it doesn't sound like a hit at all let alone a 100k+ selling #1?! (Loved both of those other songs too, 'Love Me Again' does need to be massive please).

Enjoying how varied the big hit singles are this year. I see 'La La La' doesn't even have a Wikipedia page yet to check what they say its genre is

I too heard La La La for the first time - it's fine - I don't mind that being number 1.

I also listened to Robin Thicke for the first time - that is cringeworthy - wtf is Pharell doing going anywhere near that?.

I hope Olly doesn't get stuck at no 11+. He raced up to the top 15 but seems stuck there now. The same as Little Mix a few weeks ago.
They'd be fools to release "Baby" when reviews have all indicated both Emeli Sande collaborations are screaming out for release. From what I've heard, I'd release "Powerless"; the Becky Hill feature could be enough to get them on The Voice?

Olly always does this when his video is released, hopefully the superior song and radio 1 airplay will push it into the top 10 for a week?!

I hate this sort of chart week on itunes, its hard to tell how much either no1 & 2 are selling is DP increasing sales and how high will NB actually end up at, suppose the next 2 days will tell for NB at least if its sales slow considerable they will be just ahead sales wise by the end of the week!

Just as long as we don't get another Our Version of Events re-release with the Rudimental tracks on which will then ensure the album stays top 10 for the rest of eternity.

Baby is playing on Radio 1 so it looks like that is the new single from Rudimental.

Yeah, I heard Baby of Rinse FM as well, so I think it'll be the next single. Or if not, they'll see the airplay this song gets and release it.

Daft single choices REALLY annoy me. I know they're big enough to be in a position where it doesn't matter as much so they'll probably be fine, but what about 'Powerless'?!

Addy, your signature is hilarious

I wanted to listen to Demi Lovato's I Don't Care the other week, te one with Cher LLoyd. An advert played of a song with the same name and I was like, oh this is great! I hope this is Demi's song in the advert. Well, it wasn't. Demi's song sounded awful, especially in comparison. Then you guys started talking Icona Pop, looke dit up, and there it was! The song from the advert. It's a hit waiting to happen.

DON'T give them ideas.

Hooray for Live It Up! :w00t: Hopefully it's a big hit now, I haven't heard it out of my own choice yet though!

Oh, looks like I spoke too soon when I predicted J Lo to bomb then :drama:

I was kind of expecting Michael Buble's record label to trot him out on there since his album is underperforming a bit thus far.

In other news, Beyonce's full single has finally leaked! They'd better release this to UK iTunes asap.
