'Can't Be Tamed' would have made the top 10 in the Official Charts had iTunes not made a mistake. I remember Itunes released Lena and Miley Cyrus a day late. I actually think Miley was a lot lower than #13 on iTunes before her performance, I'm sure it was around #22-25. Pixie Lott - Turn It Up had one of the biggest impacts, jumping from the 40's to the top 10.

Ah right! I remember 'Satellite' wasn't added until the Tuesday or Wednesday after she won Eurovision, but I didn't realise Miley wasn't released on the right day either! That's so unlucky then, hopefully she'll finally get that top 10 with 'We Can't Stop' especially now that Demi, Selena and Bridgit have all had UK top 10s!

I said it earlier but still think Jlo will probably get knocked out by Demi Lovato soon if she's doesn't climb higher than 10 as Demi is peforming probably Heart Attack on BGT tonight. Graham Norton might help push Jlo back in though.

Miley is incredibly unlucky, knowing her luck 'We Can't Stop' will peak at #11. Although 'The Climb' had brilliant sales for a track peaking at #11.

I like some grime and i remember the days of "Channel U" think thats when grime used to be good. Because it feels lik its kinda lost its popularity and everyone is going for a more commercial appeal.

Yeah this is true. Tinchy Stryder, Tinie Tempah, Roll Deep/Wiley, Wretch 32, Stylo G, Skepta, JME, Chipmunk, Rascals and others all use to put their videos only on Channel U before they became mainstream.

Now that the channel is called "Channel AKA" and all of these artists are making chart music grime is not as good as it use to be and is losing it's spark.

I seem to remember that when 'Can't Be Tamed' (the song) was released, a performance of it made it climb from around #15 to #4 on iTunes didn't it (before dropping at peaking at #13)? Was that due to a Britain's Got Talent performance? I seem to remember it was but I've just thought about it and wasn't sure.

That's actually correct, the performance did boost it to #4 on iTunes. By the end of the week it was about #8/#9 on iTunes and was expected to be top 10 the next week but it dropped out, then as soon as it fell out it tumbled as if it had a brick tied to it and instead dropped down to #19 officially the next week.

We Can't Stop is going to be produced by Mike Will isn't it? I reckon he'll be one of the big mainstream producers over the next few years. He's had some success in the US the past couple of years, but now people like Britney Spears and Nicole Scherzinger are also starting to work with him as well, so he might get more hits in other countries soon.

Anybody that quotes Emeli Sande will also be removed from Buzzjack

Since when was Buzzjack against credible artists? Oh wait... :kink:

Have you heard of Invasion Alert? They're a grime group and they're popular here in Birmingham at the moment, and I've even seen some of them make the iTunes top 1500 before.

I imagine it'd be cheap to travel to Ireland? Luckily, J-Lo is #8 on their iTunes!

Judging by iTunes Eric could as well move to Russia as we have 2 Chains at #1 for a week now! With Fergie, Q-Tip & GoonRock - A Little Party at #10 too.

The Fergie song is kind of strange. It's like a more generic version of We No Speak Americano.

We've actually got two 2 Chainz songs in the UK top 100 now! f***in' Problems has re-entered! :o Anybody know why? Now would be a good time to Radio 1 to playlist it. :kink:

It seems like Icona Pop will not achieve a hit with I Love It, unless they are picked up for a promotion slot.

No i haven't heard of them, are they any good?

What om Earth makes you say that? There's no way it will not be a hit.

2 Chainz is number 1 on US iTunes as well.

Sorry? It seems to me that you're either being sarcastic or trolling.

What om Earth makes you say that? There's no way it will not be a hit.

Unless they hold it back for so ridiculously long that people have lost interest by the time it's finally released.
